2024 BRIDE REVIEW!!! I have been to numerous events at 42West and the beauty is you can make the space look HOWEVER YOU WANT! It is one of the only venues that allow you to achieve all different styles (rustic, modern, classic, FUN!) Lauren (the owner) has a HUGE inventory of specially curated pieces that she will allow you to mix and match however you please (which is rare in Atlanta!!!) 42West has 3 event spaces and we used all of them for my engagement party turned surprise wedding. We used the Annex as our cocktail hour space and went with whites, black, and natural tones (SoHo House was the inspiration - we used almost solely Lauren's inventory and it was perfect). We were also able to grab a few pictures on the patio before it rained! Had the weather not been bad, we would've expanded our cocktail hour out into the gorgeous space. We used the Gallery as our ceremony room and I LOVED how white, warm, and romantic it looked. Lastly, we used the Main Room as our reception space and we went with a very fun & modern look with a lot of white and silver, pops of red and light pink, and of course, utilizing her video wall - IT MADE THE ENTIRE SPACE!!!!! Lauren and Halley made the planning process so easy and I cannot recommend working with these ladies enough!!! They will be right there beside you the entire way making sure every detail is perfect. My husband and I live in West Midtown, and it was super important to us to have a venue that showcased our lifestyle in Atlanta. We couldn't have achieved that without Lauren, Halley, the crew at 42West, and this beautiful venue!!! THANK YOU for being a part of our special day!!

I got married at 42West in September 2024 and I'm convinced it's the best wedding venue in Atlanta. Lauren is incredible and went above & beyond to help us execute a beautiful cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception (plus an amazing afterparty). We booked the venue a year in advance, and every time we came back to visit in the meantime, Lauren had made a new upgrade to the space - she expanded the bridal suite, acquired the Annex and Gallery, and expanded her furniture & decor inventory. She really took the time to understand our vision for the evening, and we valued her input & advice throughout the planning process. Other than a last name sign, we had ZERO decor budget - Lauren recreated my Pinterest board vision entirely from her own inventory. 42West's flexibility allowed us to plan an extremely personalized evening with minimal logistical stress, and their team expertly managed setup & vendor coordination.

If you're comparing against other venues, 42West's biggest differentiators are:
1) No nickel-and-diming. We paid a flat price for unlimited event time and there are no surprise operational fees or taxes added on top.
2) Decor assistance. We had a low decor budget and did not prioritize aesthetics, but the wedding was still gorgeous thanks to 42West's variety of beautiful spaces and extensive furniture & decor inventory.
3) Flexibility. Lauren was very accommodating, and all venue rules are reasonable and did not feel restrictive in the slightest. We LOVED hosting our afterparty in the 42West Annex - it was one of the biggest highlights of the day - but this wouldn't have been possible at most ITP venues due to a combination of space constraints, end-time rules, or noise restrictions.

My daughter attended a prom at this venue. It was beautiful, spacious, had lounge areas for relaxing if you became tired of dancing, excellent lighting and sound! Wonderfully outfitted with great furniture and decor!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Attended a wedding tonight and this is an interesting space. Very minimalist with potential. And because of how it is divided it's very wedding friendly and easy to morph for wedding festivities. Parking is limited. That was my only negative but it's a nice space.

I wish I could leave ZERO stars for this venue! 11 of my oversized Red Luxury Sand Candles were stolen this past weekend at 42 West VENUE. Lauren was no help in assisting me retrieving footage of my inventory being walked out the front doors of her space because the security cameras inside were covered by pipe and drape and the outside cameras were quote on quote to get license plate information. Sounds like the ops to me. Thousands of Dollars of Inventory Stolen and No one knows nothing. This is very disheartening to a single mom who works very hard to bring beauty to parties, weddings, and private events here in Atlanta. I can’t even say they were stolen out of the building because the event planner was at the venue the entire time until the party was over and my candles was still there. It’s just really unfortunate I even have to experience this or even make a review but if as a business doing business with other businesses here in Atlanta doesn’t care about vendors property when it is on their premises then why would anyone want to even book there? How secure is this venue? The pipe and drape being over the security cameras is hazardous to anyone who books this place. In the event of a accident there’s no way to see what actually happens. So disappointing. No one wants to take accountability. Poor communication and very entitled behavior.

First I want to thank Mrs Lauren and Ms Emma for making sure my wife and I had the best wedding ever! The first day we went to look at the venue Mrs Lauren was very sweet and welcoming. We knew this was the venue we wanted to get married in. She was very helpful and checked on us regularly to makes sure we didn’t need anything. On the actual wedding day Ms Emma was there and she was absolutely amazing. Plus she gives great hugs! Lol she made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. It was the perfect day. We could thank you guys enough. We love you guys forever❤️.
