Excellent venue. My nephew got married there this past weekend and OMG what a fabulous place. Margaret & her family were so awesome. They helped out my my mother the grooms 84 year old grandmother with such respect and dignity, truly amazing. Beautiful event, awesome place, I highly recommend. Thank you Margaret & Dean. You rock!

What a beautiful hidden little gem of a place. I attended a wedding here and so wish it had existed when I married. The views are gorgeous, the barn is amazing (love the decor in the bathrooms, the grounds immaculate, and the staff were a delight.

The venue was absolutely beautiful. The attention to every detail was wonderful. However, as a guest, when the venue owner started cleaning up the reception area at 8:45, it made the guest feel very unwelcome. I thought that it was very tacky on her part especially since the reception was not scheduled to be over until 11:00.

Wood Lakeside Events was all I could have dreamt it to be! From the location to the responsiveness of the owners, Dean and Margaret, it was an AMAZING experience. My favorite part, everything it includes for the price. We had a live band and were happy to have the additional outdoor space for the guests who found it a little too loud! and OH THE PINE FORREST, truly makes for the most beautiful bridal photos. Margaret is attentive and there for your every needs! 10/10 would recommend.

The owner has a very nasty attitude with people. Talk to you with no respect. Cleaning up early. Watching everybody like she’s a state trooper. But the venue was amazing.
