We headed for the Sonoma Coast Visitor Center to get some information about the film locations of Alfred Hitchcock's suspense movie "The Birds". A very friendly, committed and competent employee gave us a lot of background information and a specific map comprising all remaining locations. Besides that, we had a wonderful and relaxing afternoon in the paradise of Bodega Bay.

Please stop and visit this gem. We stopped and truly enjoyed the visitors center. We stopped in for directions and enjoyed the Birds memorabilia from Alfred Hitchcock. I wish I would have got the lady's name that helped us, but she was so friendly and helped us plan out our day in Bodega Bay. We followed her suggestions and had the best day ever.

Super duper helpful. Definitely recommend stopping here to get information about the area. We wanted to go on a hike and the staff recommended 3 different places and we eventually decided on Bodega head trail. Totally worth it! Thank you!
