Went on the 1.5 hour Bodega Bay Beach Ride with our guide, T. It was absolutely stunning to be out in the coastal air, waves crashing and hooves beating the sand. T is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide!

The ranch property is beautiful, the horses are well cared for, the staff are very friendly.

Will definitely be back!

I usually volunteer weekly at their sister location in Olema. I wanted to check out Bodega Bay location because many of the rides include water - the creek or the beach. I didn't go to the beach on this visit but it was within view. The views are beautiful as are the horses. I got to meet some pretty cool ones.

My family and I had such a fun and exhilarating time!! We went on the wetlands ride and it was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and informative, special thanks to Arvin and Romero!! 10/10 would be here again here is a sneak peek of the ride and the wonderful Mr. Waffles 🙂

Awesome experience. Romero our guide was sweet and really cool. This was a group tour but there was no one except for us and it ended up as a private tour. So we were fortunate even do some trotting. It was all fun and games for the day but later I think my rear is still feeling the trotting haha.

More insights -
1. The ride was for 1.5 hours
2. Guide Romero - funny, excellent and talented. He was showing his skills on the horse so that was nice
3. Trail - Bodega Bay Beach (Sonoma State Park)
4. Wear boots if possible as trails can be in between bushes. So better get those feet completely covered.
5. Month - May; Time - 3pm. it does get windy. So better wear some light Jacket and a beanie

Our 8yo was nervous about horse riding but our guide Romero put him at ease and gave him the best horse- Piper. He left asking to come back again and wants a horse of his own now. What better recommendation can you get than that?
