My husband and I chose a private beach ride for our honeymoon and had the BEST time. We were both beginners and Jenny made sure we felt very comfortable on our horses. The horses were very well trained and cooperative with beginner riders! Jenny was so kind, knowledgable and easy to talk to! She taught us both about the landscape and the horses. When we were comfortable she gave us the option to trot/canter which we felt comfortable trying with her guidance. She stopped and made sure we had pictures together so that we could remember our ride. Thank you Chanslor Ranch! We had a great time!

Our family of 4 was able to reserve a last minute beach trail ride and can't stop reflecting on how amazing the experience was for us. The ranch staff were welcoming and we were able to register easily and grab carrots to "tip" our horses. We followed them a short trek to the trailhead where we were given clear riding instructions and helped into our saddles. The ride was gorgeous, over dunes of colorful vegetation with the horses filing in line along sandy trails. We spent a good bit of time on the beach which was my favorite part of the ride, looking at the Pacific Ocean on my beautiful horse (Jake?). We even were able to trot briefly (exhilarating)! There were 3 others along with our foursome and our trail guides Vanessa and Chloe were phenomenal. Two of us had only guided trail walks experience like this and we felt comfortable and safe with the instructions and our guides interactions. They took lots of photos for the riders along the way and posed shots on the beach (not charging as other outfits do). Would highly recommend you book horseback adventures with Chanslor Ranch - they made our bucket item family outing a day to cherish!

My wife and I did a ride on our 10-yr anniversary with Romero. We coordinated before hand on a place to stop for pictures and he made our experience that more memorable. The horses (Guinness and Maddie) were fun and we felt very comfortable riding with them. Will most definitely be back for the other trails and adventures. Thank you!

Me and my loves went on a ride in Dec of 2023. One of the funnest rides I have ever..EVER been on. Roslyn (please forgive if spelled wrong) our guide was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, & knowledgeable about location and scenery around us. We had a great ride. Will definitely go back and definitely have and will recommend this stable. If you are in the area there definitely worth the experience. Thank you to all staff, the short interaction with them was pleasant and so welcoming. Again thank you

My husband and I had an amazing time on our tour with Five Brooks with “T” as our guide. We did the eagles view trail and it was beautiful, the ride was so much fun and “T” was super helpful with my husband being a beginner rider! We will definitely be coming back to try some more trails!

We had an amazing experience with Chanslor Ranch! Making a reservation was easy and all of the employees were incredibly nice. Scott and Sophia got the horses ready for us, and Riley was our guide on our 1.5-hour beach ride. Riley was very friendly and really interesting (he's a real cowboy, can't get better than that!) The horses (Jake and Hannah) were great, too -- very sweet and clearly experts at their job. The area is beautiful, especially this time of year with the flowers blooming. If you're thinking about booking a ride, don't wait! Book now, because they're very busy and you'll have a great time!

I did not go for a trail ride for lack of time, but great people! They let me sit up on their percheron to take photos for free. First time back on a horse for almost twenty years and it was such a blessing. Thank you! Next time I come to California I will be booking a ride for me an my fiancé. Kind animals and approachable staff.

Had the most amazing ride with Riley and Scott! We did the Salmon Creek trail and it was absolutely stunning. The trail was blooming with all sorts of flowers and it felt like we were in a forest. The staff were so kind and welcoming and we would definitely return!
