Fabulous experience over Veterans Day weekend. Hiked all day and stayed in a glamping tent. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi and pool this afternoon after many hours on the trails. I hope to come back again soon! I just wrote Long review but it got erased… Anyway, love this place!

Great location right by the visitor center. Very cool looking wild west look on the outside and nice decor on the inside. Very spacious room. Great bed, just right pillows. Dark sky there so you can see the stars right outside your door. If checking in after dark bring a flashlight to find your room.

Mattress seemed like it sloped to one side. Time to replace. ||Hot water was sparse in the shower. Hot water handle in the sink did not work at all. Need a fresh coffee service in the morning. Overall was pleased, very clean. Glad to have a refrigerator too.

Dishonest pricing. ||||Property is "rustic" but also very dated. Parts were in poor repair but rooms not just rustic but downright old. ||||But it was very cheap!||||On site dining is kind of a joke - menu extremely limited so we at at Carmelitos (excellent!) and Red Ocotillo (also excellent) instead of on the property.

Our first trip to Borrego Springs on a whim. With No reservations, We were fortunate enough to get the last room in the hotel. Unlike most places in California, The prices for the weekends are more than reasonable. The atmosphere is just awesome. Love the Knott's Berry Farm style Hotel. Laundry rooms for the guest, great place for RV and camping. Picnic tables, two pools, two Jacuzzis. One of the coziest places we have ever been fortunate enough to stumble across. I cannot say enough about the staff and the overall atmosphere of this place. Marilyn is the best. Made us feel right at home as soon as we checked in. The rooms are clean and cozy, I did not see one piece of trash around the whole property. Loved every minute of our stay. Actually came just for one night, but had to stay one more. We will absolutely be back ASAP to the Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Park

One of our most pleasant, peaceful and memorable trips ever. We loved the Knott's Berry Farm old west Style Hotel. Borrego Springs is a great place to visit for all ages. Also very dog friendly

I’ve been to a few of the RV resorts owned and managed by Highway West. This one is definitely built up more than a normal out nowhere rv park. Two pools and hot tubs allow for plenty of room if your visit is during a busy time. The RV portion of the resort is well kept and clean. All hookups work EXCEPT cable.
The hotel is cool with its themed buildings. I peered into a few rooms being cleaned and they looked like standard hotel rooms.
The bar is California priced.
Staff is very nice.

I noticed the bath houses use a silly old decking material (probably to add to the look) the decking material should be replaced with something less splintering and more level.
