Had a great time on this small group tour of Slovenia / Croatia! We traveled by mini bus and boat, which were all excellent and comfortable. The bus driver got us everywhere safely, and shared good stories along the way. Our host for the trip kept us all entertained throughout, oftentimes revealing surprises as we went along. You can google the sights the tour visits, but they have to be experienced to truly appreciate. The food and drink was top notch, and another highlight of the trip! If I had to pick a favorite spot, that would be quite difficult. Lake Bled was breathtaking. Lubjliana is a lively capital city, with things going on all the time. Jeruzalem (sp?) was a quaint small village in the rolling hills of eastern Slovenia, dotted with many local (and excellent) wineries. You then have Split and Dubrovnik, Croatia, with Roman ruins and Venetian architecture.

If you have the opportunity to go on one of these small group tours (I think they max out at 12 guests)...do it!! You will never forget this once in a lifetime opportunity! 🙂

I cannot recommend UnTour.cool highly enough! The trip was well organized, accommodations were great, and we had the most spectacular experiences. Each wine tasting was unique and extraordinary, and the meals fantastic. Katy infuses the tour with her passion for Slovenia and Croatia, and her personal connections make this tour exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

I was fortunate enough to go on this trip with Katy in 2018. It was an amazing trip full of unique experiences that we never would have found on our own. Katy has great relationships with folks in both countries which make for one-of-a-kind adventures! You don't need to feel guilty about all the food and wine because you will also get lots of great exercise in gorges, caves and the incomparable Plitvice Lakes. I can't wait to travel with her again on another trip!

My trip to Slovenia and Croatia with Untour.Cool exceeded all expectations! I recommend this to friends and family at every opportunity. Every day was filled with "Wow" moments. It was a perfect balance of family vinyard tours, historical sites, natural wonders, and excellent meals. We also had plenty of time to explore on our own. I can't wait for my next Untour with Katy!

Katys personal relationships to the local people is what makes this trip to Slovenia and Croatia so rich. We were invited to experiences that generally only family would be privy too. Homemade soup, the award winning wine maker serving us in her country kitchen. Meeting the grand kids and the whole family as we were led into their personal cellar. A Top Chef gourmet experience in another family's private outdoor pavilion in the middle of their vineyard. Its not all food and wine! We had tea in the meadow of a lippazon breeding site as we waited to watch the team of horses gallop past the fence to the stable. We met a couple of bee keepers and didnt get stung! When visiting tourist spots Katy timed it so we missed the crowds. Katy is smart, laughs a lot and is loved by all. From this experience I will now only go where she guides me to make the most of my time and adventure.

It was well planned and organized, Katy was delightful and helpful all along the way. We visited some of the most spectacular places, ate fabulous food - everywhere! - stayed in lovely places, and drank some of the best wines in the world. The wine tasting experiences were extraordinary. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys travel, seeing spectacular scenery, and experiencing good food and wine. You will NOT be disappointed."
