When we moved to the Bay, we discovered Travis Marina and fell in love with it. We never imagined on that faithful day of discovery, we would have the opportunity to get married there. When we booked it as our venue, the next big concern was, "how are we going to pull this off?".

We were introduced to Carrie and Miguel, of Golden Gate Events and our concerns were put at ease. Carrie quickly jumped into action to connect us with great vendors and the other resources we required. As a creative, I had many ideas on the decor and props we wanted to have. Miguel, partnered with us to assure that he and his team could make our wildest ideas work. Aside from the resources, Carrie setup checkin points, day of action plans, and minute by minute day of timeline. Carrie was so responsive and was there for us every step of the way.
Needless to say it all went off without a hitch.

We cannot recommend and praise Carrie, Miguel and their team at Golden Gate enough. We couldn't have done it without them, and thank them for making our day so special.

I used Golden Gate Special Events for a Celebration of Life at the boathouse at Travis Marina. Carrie and Miguel were so easy to work with and they made an overwhelming occasion simply beautiful. They were communicative, creative, professional, and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend them... for any event.
