Had a fantastic experience working with Color Tree Event for our baby’s first birthday (Korean dol)! Terry was super responsive, patient with all of my questions, and super accommodating. They have an amazing selection of rentals specific for Korean dol, which is great so I don’t have to worry/stress about having the right things on the head table, or even buying something I may never use again in the future. They even have all of the doljabi items (with additional ones to swap if you wish). The rental fees were extremely reasonable, and their setup as well. Color Tree Event also provides MC services and if you’re lucky to get Uncle Terry you’re in for a real treat. He had all of our guests (both young and old) laughing and having a good time throughout the event. Terry was also great at checking our baby’s overall condition throughout the day and knowing when was the ideal time to take photos, or move on to the next event. I was super late (because baby lol), but Terry and his team didn’t bat an eyelash and had everything set up and ready to go. I am so grateful for Terry and his team’s amazing service and hospitality and quite frankly our baby’s dol would not have been possible without them. Thank you!

We had a sweet 15 and contacted Terry. If you are in need of help to put together any type of event, don’t hesitate to go with Color Tree! I was hesitant, didn’t know what to expect. Terry did an awesome job in planning, working with vendors and hosting the day of! They were the kindest and took initiative on follow ups. My family had such a great time. I was so stressed and now I can’t wait until the next event to work with the team! (I didn’t have a chance to take pictures with my phone to do the event justice)

We're so grateful to Terry and his team for helping us with literally everything. They helped us choose a location, connected us to a photographer, decorated and set everything up so stunningly. Terry and his assistant Sue, were a big help for the day of the event. We booked months in advance and Terry followed up with me prior to the party to ensure that we ironed out the details. He showed up on time to set up, kept us on schedule during the party and did a great job with the decor and breakdown. I will say that Sue was a standout assistant for the day. She went above what was expected of her by helping decorate with florals, helping me with the baby, communicating with the venue staff and just being there BTS to fill in where I may have lacked as a host. We had a great time working with Colortree!

Terry did a fantastic job with our daughter's first birthday! My husband and I both work full time, so the last thing that I wanted to do as a working mom was plan a huge event in the precious time that I have to spend with our baby. Terry made sure that we didn't have to worry about anything, showed up on the day of the event very prepared, and put together decorations that perfectly fit the aesthetic that we were looking for. As a bonus, he had the whole crowd laughing and having a great time with his great sense of humor and charisma! Highly recommend Colortree for their excellent service and low stress for parents approach.

Super attentive, detailed, and clear communication as we prepared for our birthday party. On the day of the event, Terry was a great coordinator and it made it a lot easier for me to enjoy the party! Color Tree planned by daughter’s 1st Birthday. My family is all in San Diego/LA and I currently live in Houston, TX. I needed party planners that could make the party theme and Korean Dohl celebration come to life, all while being 3,000 miles away!
They really followed through with every detail we discussed and went above and beyond to make everything look perfect the day of! True professionals that executed their part of the party set up, design/decor, and clean up. I would recommend them to anyone who needs party planning services.

Also, Terry and Ivy are super sweet and warm people! A major bonus!
