Fantastic service all round. Stayed one night in Room 11 which was huge and had a great view of the river. Very clean and had robes and toiletries included. The bath was lovely but water pressure meant leaving just a bit longer for it to run. Ate in the bar and service was great a small problem with my meal was sorted really quickly. Breakfast was good although having to decide a time the night before is not the best especially when you come down to a virtually empty dining space. I would recommend. The bed was really comfy and the hotel was very quiet.

The Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel was a lovely place to stay in Inverness. Its location on the banks of the River Ness is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The staff, in particular Lisa, the front desk receptionist, and the restaurant hostess, were very professional, welcoming and helpful. The room was well appointed and clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel also has a very nice bar and restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast. We staff provided great service in a relaxing, romantic setting. I highly recommend this hotel.

After a recommendation from a colleague. My husband and I had a fabulous Anniversary Lunch today. The service and food was exceptional and in particular our waiter Diego who was so attentive. The Espresso Martini was genuinely the best I've ever had, I'm sorry I never got the young gentlemans name who made them both. We would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a fabulous position next to the river and within easy walking distance to town centre, restaurants and theatre. This was the main reason for booking. Expensive for one night with no breakfast included. Room was in the annex which was not made clear when booking. Upon entering Annex you can see the area is not used, tired looking, dark and certainly not inviting. Asked for room with river view which was provided but a flat roof and trees blocked view. One worn bucket chair provided in room for two people. We took turns to sit in it. The bathroom was like a cupboard with no windows really not somewhere you could relax in. A big clean bed which dipped in the middle. Dead wasps lying on the carpeted floor. This was for a special occasion and we were disappointed for what we paid, but on discussing this with reception it was noted? would not recommend or book again.

Given no information on check-in, just a key and sent to the annexe. The annexe is a seperaye building like a student house with lots of rooms. The room I got was tiny, FREEZING COLD. Tiniest shower room. Noisy as you hear everyone coming and going. Double bed is two singles pushed together. Service in the restaurant was abysmal. Ordered soup and a roll. They brought the soup, but i had no spoon. They couldn't find a spoon, no roll came, by the time I had spoon and roll, the tiny portion of soup wad of course cold.

Had to book last minute, so was quite expensive. However, advance rates are really reasonable and offers good value for money. Service was great, breakfast very good and bar was nice in the evening. Hotel is tired in parts, but this is to be expected for this age and type of hotel. Would stay again.

This is a mixed review and to summarise we were disappointed with our stay and the service we received.|We booked for one night on a highlands trip ending up in Inverness. We paid quite a bit more for the room expecting a quality experience. |Good bits: The hotel is perfectly situated next to the river on a quiet road and only a 15 minute walk (flat) to the city centre. There’s a decent sized car park. Our room at the front of the hotel was quirky, had period features & had a lovely outlook. A huge bathroom with a great shower. |Less good: the fire doors were left open and all the noise from late night guests in the bar and restaurant filtered up the stairs and straight into our room. It was noisy. |The single beds were old and dipped in the middle. Some attempt had been made to rectify by putting mattress toppers on - it really didn’t work and they were uncomfortable. |Breakfast was a nonsense - we were asked the night before what time would we come down and gave the person on reception a time. We arrived, all the continental pastries had been taken, not replenished and no apologies. |There was a huge tourist / coach party staying whilst we were there and it seemed their needs were met, without any thought for us.|We contacted the manager on our return home and eventually had an unsatisfactory reply and we both feel really annoyed by the service and facilities at this hotel. We hardly ever complain and when you do, no one takes any notice!!
