They are a number 1 tour company! Can't wait for them to begin offering trips again for the Appalachian trail! We have taken a trip to Switzerland with them.

I recently returned from Hiking the Swiss and French Alps trip. I must say it was a fabulous trip. Gorgeous scenery, perfect weather, wonderful hikes. Scott and Tim, our guides, along with the local guide, Hildrun, were outstanding. I have done several trips with WAI and highly recommend the tour group. I have not been disappointed in any trip. Keep up the excellent work!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Israel with WAI! We had adventures every day they were so well planned and executed. WAI takes care of all the details so traveling is a joy not a chore. We extended our trip on each end and they helped us with those details as well. Scott and Ruth were very helpful in the trip taking care of details along the way. If someone likes to take “the road less traveled”, I highly recommend WAI. You will not be disappointed!

I have traveled with Walking Adventures on 40 trips over the past 20+ years. I have never been disappointed. They really make an effort to get into the local culture and local people. The walking is usually split up most days so you are not stressed. It is always a great like-minded group. The 5-year reunions are especially wonderful since you get to visit with folks you have traveled with over the years. As they say, "You get what you pay for"!! This is certainly true with Walking Adventures.

The Duoro river cruise and walking adventure was our second with this terrific company. Forget the big companies. Try not to get too focused on costs. This is just so much better than traditional bus tours and cruise ship travel. And don't worry about your level of fitness. They take all ability levels into account. You will not be disappointed.

I always get good value for my money with WAI. I recently traveled with them to the AVA Convention. In addition to the convention, we also walked trails in seven states, including several capitals. It was great fun!
