My daughter and I had a fantastic experience kayaking on Lake Almanor thanks to owners Bobby and Tracy. When I called to inquire about rentals, Tracy asked me some questions about our plans for the day (like a relaxed shorter distance outing with swim breaks or a longer distance adventure) to help select the right kayaks for us. Then Bobby delivered the kayaks along with the dry bags we requested, and carried them right to the lake for us. He was incredibly helpful, flexible, and friendly, and set us up for a perfect day. Bobby was easy to reach by text to confirm timing of delivery and pickup. And, he allowed us to bring our little doggie along! We will absolutely rent from them again next visit.

Bobby and Tracy are wonderful, responsive, and take customer service to heart. They deliver kayaks on time, give you needed restrictions, and go above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience.

They make sure to advise you on the best spots and keep a watch on the weather to make sure you are safe.

My friends and I rented kayaks and paddle boards from high elevation and we were all so pleased with their service and product! They were able to deliver the kayaks to us which was convenient and helpful. The owners are very sweet!

My wife and I had a great experience renting paddleboards. We weren't that familiar with the area, but the owners are very friendly and answered all our questions, helped us find a great spot to get out on the lake, and the delivery and pickup of the gear made it super easy to get out and enjoying the water.

We just called them in the last minute but they helped us to setup in 30 mins. We all had a fantastic time and kayaks were in very good shape. I recommend everyone to try their kayak rentals

Great and fast service, super flexible, delivered the kayaks so we would not need to worry about transport. One of the top highlights of our trip to Lake Almanor. Will certainly be recommending High Elevation Kayak Rentals to our friends and rent again when we’re back.

We rented kayaks and paddle boards from high elevation and loved their service! They delivered the kayaks to us and took care of unloading, and loading. Their kayaks and paddle boards are brand new, would definitely recommend renting from them 🙂
