We had such a positive experience on our shark dive 11/11/23! The entire crew was enthusiastic, welcoming and accommodating. They took great care of my son when he got sea sick, had a wealth of knowledge to share with us about the Farallon islands and it’s sharks and birds. They fed us delicious food and gladly shared their space as they navigated the tough waters between the bay and the islands. I saw great skill, learned so much and admired the respect these professionals had for the majestic creatures who inhabit the area. Even though we didn’t see any sharks we still had a fantastic time and highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience produced by skilled professionals!

I had the most amazing time with Incredible Adventures, sailing to the Farallon Islands to cage dive with white sharks! I actually went out with them twice and hope to find the time again in the future. When I first signed up I wasn't quite sure what to expect, save some online research and their instructions. As soon as the research sailboat passed under the San Francisco bridge at sunrise I was hooked. Each trip I've learned a lot about both the Bay Area and the islands from the onboard naturalists. A friend also loaned me a book called "The Devil's Teeth" by Susan Casey which really added a lot of depth to the diving and shark and bird research that happens there!
We got lucky on my first trip. Even though the water was choppy offshore, it was still safe enough to journey out to the islands. Not everyone wanted to spend a lot of time in the cage, so I stayed in as long as possible and saw my first white shark! Meanwhile, everyone else on the boat got to witness a breach and a predation event topside! There was something magical about seeing a huge tank of a silhouette below me in the dark water that day. I've seen white sharks in other places since then, but that first memory will always stay with me!
The second trip was canceled by ocean conditions on its original date, but we caught absolutely perfect weather on reschedule. The sea was glassy flat, the sun was shining, we saw harbor porpoises feeding in the bay, and at the islands the water was so clear we could see sea urchins and fish on the sea floor from inside the cage. This time there were fewer divers on board, and after no sharks appeared for the first half of the day, everyone voted to pull anchor early and sail around a while before we had to head back to port. We saw the impressively jagged side of the islands, some seals that seem to have chosen a poor place to live, research posts high on the hills, and quite a few species of birds.
I cannot say enough good things about everyone I've met on these trips, passengers and crew alike. Hope you will also find a beautiful day at the Farallones, with a chance of great white sharks!

In August I had the privilege of taking the journey to Tiger Beach located about 2 hours north of Grand Bahama Island. To date this was the most amazing underwater adventure I've ever experienced (I'm not Certified, but inspired to get certified after this trip). As one of the company Founders this Cage Dive (of course I'm Biased) has my SEAL of Approval!
The local guides we partner with from West End did not disappoint. It was not Tiger Shark Season and the team was still able to put us in front of a 13 foot Tiger, a ton of large Lemons and even a Nurse Shark...WOW! WOW! WOW! Loved it!!!!

My husband decided to buy me a trip to go shark diving for my birthday to tick that dream off my bucket list. As a new mom, I have been overwhelmed with trying to keep up with a full time job, a new baby, and have hardly done a single thing for myself. I woke up every day for 6 months holding on to the fact that I had this trip to look forward to. I booked for the 29th of September in April, paid for my flights, booked a hotel, purchased a Gopro, Expensive dive mask, anything and everything that would make this the DREAM COME TRUE that it was supposed to be. I knew from the original paperwork that the trip was non refundable but since I was flying in the day before I figured that there was NO WAY they wouldn't know if the weather was expected to be bad at least the day before so I wouldn't fly there for NOTHING. They forced everyone to buy trip insurance which looking back makes sense but at the time I thought it was because of the risks of getting in a cage with sharks. I got to San Francisco the 28th and spent money for ubers, hotel, eating out, and last minute stuff for my trip. All money i'll never get back. I spent 30 minutes the night before polishing my mask, hours learning my new camera and all the accessories anxiously waiting for the next morning. I heard nothing from the company about potential weather issues or cancellation. I woke up at 4 am to get ready and got to the dock with all these other nice folks who had also come from out of town, bought plane tickets, 2 people drove 48 hours straight from Minnesota to get there. about 20 minutes before we were supposed TO BE LEAVING ON THE BOAT. We all got TEXT MESSAGES that it was cancelled. Excuse me but I am quite certain when people are paying $1000 a head to go on a boat you at least SHOW UP to tell us all IN PERSON you aren't taking us. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THE WEATHER UP UNTIL 20 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE? I was set to fly out the next day so there was no option to reschedule for the next day. My mom was super upset when she heard how devastated I was and started making phone calls. The coast guard in the area said the weather was totally clear at the islands for the 29th. The port of San Francisco told her they were familiar with this boat and company and they do leave from that dock regularly but did not see them ever scheduled for the 29th. This is third party information because I was too devastated to make these calls myself. Nothing about the way this company operates seems legit to me to be honest it smells like a form of insurance fraud. What did it cost them to cancel due to weather? They had no expenses they just banked on the insurance refunding me I guess and they are out nothing but get to keep the money. Going on a shark dive is something that people dream about. It's on a lot of my friends bucket lists.. I am writing this review to hope someone sees it and looks elsewhere to experience shark diving. the people who went on this trip said it was an overpriced whale watching trip and with looking around online that is a common theme.. no sharks to be seen. Just don't waste your money on this! Not worth the heart ache and hassle of trying to process insurance claims. Here is a picture of all of us waiting for a boat that would never arrive at 5:45am.

I purchased a zero gravity flight from Incredible Adventures for my husband’s bd. In addition to this extravagant purchase, I also paid an extra $500 for an edited video of the experience, in DVD form, so we could view this on our home theatre screen. Instead, I received a computer disc, which obviously does not work for our home theatre. The entire experience was paid for 2 months prior to the flight, by check. It is now 5 months since the check was cashed, & 3 months after the event. Greg Claxton, does not return my calls, or respond to my many texts & emails. Since I paid by check, I realize I will never get a refund, or receive the product I paid for. I now understand to be wary when a merchant requires payment by check. Although the flight was a great experience, we dealt in good faith, & have been cheated. Proceed with GREAT CAUTION in dealing with this company. They are NOT reputable.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
I purchased the cage diving package through Incredible Adventures for my best friend for his 50th Birthday Present back in May. It was something we both wanted to do. He’s been really good to me and i wanted to do something special for him. So it seemed like the PERFCT GIFT! The company seemed legit so I forked over $1600 plus dollars for the cage diving with sharks experience. I booked a hotel that cost me around $800 to stay there just for this. And they FORCE YOU to purchase trip insurance that cost me an extra $300. But its his birthday present and its worth it because it wil be something to remember forever. So after paying for all that, I started putting money away for gas and added extra expenses, knowing we were going to be driving there and we would be needing more things to truly enjoy the whole experience of this cage diving adventure. An adventure that turned into a nightmare. We drove 40plus hours JUST FOR THIS CAGE DIVING PACKAGE OFFERED BY IA. I purchased the Go Pros just for this. The hotel was just for this. The goggles and all the extra stuff, just for this. The trip insurance they make you buy, that doesnt cover you just for this. And all for what? NOTHING!!!!! Let me give you a run down of our cage diving experience on Sept 29. We wake up at 4 am to get everything and ourselves ready. We get to the dock anxious and excited for the fun we are about to have. I was in my car when my best friend came to me and asked if I had gotten a text. I said no. To which he said you better come out here and listen. Everyone had gotten a text but me as we are all standing around waiting for someone to show up with a boat to take us out. A text saying they are cancelling. A text I still haven’t received. They couldn’t even come down and tell us in person. They did it through a text. Pretty unprofessional i say. They said it was due to the weather. But according to the coast guard, the weather was calm at the Farallons that day. And even if the weather was bad, you cant tell me with todays technology, that they didnt know that info prior to the morning of departure time. But the weather was calm. We have a confirmed copy stating that. What we also have is the Harbormaster stating that no reservation was even made by IA to even take a boat out to the Farallons that day. So either they never planned on taking us out, or they were going to do so illegalally. But you know what, they say that is what the trip insurance is for. Trip insurance they make you buy that doesn’t cover this type of cancellation. So in other words IA gets all our money and does nothing, expecting the trip insurance to cover the expense. But it doesnt. So at this point, i shut down. I cry and that’s what i did pretty much the rest of the day. A day that was suppose to be great and remembered forever, but instead its nothing but bad. Why? I am a single mom of 6 kids. I work in the school. So its not like I make any real kind of money. Not only did i have to leave my 6 kids to take off work for this trip that cost me well over $3000, the whole reason behind the trip was to give my best friend a birthday gift that he’ll never forget. And it was ruined. The whole thing was ruined. Its not something i can return. Its not like i can go out and buy him something different. I put every bit of extra money i had into this gift. And because Incredible Adventures is out there screwing people out of their hard earned money, my best friends birthday was ruined and I’m broke.
OH BUT WAIT. THERES MORE...... But for whatever reason it wont let me add it. Just trust me. DONT GO THRU THIS COMPANY. You will REGRET it!!!

Terrible experience. Do not use this company!
They didn’t show up the first day. Didn’t call. Just TEXTED that they were cancelling the trip. They DO NOT offer refunds, go figure!
They rescheduled the trip for the next day. Many couldn’t go (work, flights, etc. and were simply out thousands of dollars). IA didn’t care.
My mom’s gear was so ratty there were almost holes in her wetsuit. And when she put the booties on that they gave her, her foot went straight through a giant hole in the back of one! Thankfully she brought her own.
So we sat in a cold cage and saw nothing. Not even a single fish in the water. The decoy looks like a black t-shirt. And they don’t even bring it in and throw it out again. So it was like 5 feet from the cage the whole time. During the day I was tired but the captain was asleep in the hull so I couldn’t even SIT somewhere comfortably until he awoke, hours later. There are no seats on the boat—so we had to sit on coolers the whole day. It was INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE (IU not IA). Then after our 4-15 minute dives flies swarmed our boat. So the captain took off early. The last couple didn’t even get to do their last dive to see nothing! The Captain almost ran down a group of humpbacks too. He wouldn’t slow down for us to take photos.
NOTHING Incredible about this experience!
