I entered a raffle and received a call saying that I was selected for two vacation packages with KMP Travel. Now, I informed the agent that I have been scammed through a raffle before and just wanted some verification before paying a $198 promo fee. It is a significant amount to pay suddenly. The agent was very rude saying “you’re going to spend hours looking for negative reviews, and that’s the problem with young people, they believe anything.” It hadn’t even been 5 minutes of me trying to look for legitimacy and even after I explained that I’m not necessarily looking for negative reviews, just verification of the legitimacy of the company, she proceeded to proclaim that I’m wasting her time. She was VERY pushy, not allowing me a moment to check the company. She also wasn’t able to give me a website, DUNS number, or anything about the company which only made me believe even more that it may be a scam. When I explained that I didn’t appreciate her rude tone and that I no longer felt comfortable paying the amount, she said “Thank God!” And immediately hung up. Whether this company is real or not, I would not give them your business. Stay away.
