This was my first time booking a “surprise” trip. My friends and I waited 6 months from the time of booking until the trip and we were so excited when the time finally came. And of course, the day we were to leave, Hurricane Milton was hitting Florida and one of my friends could not fly out. Whym expertly worked with us to change our arrangements so that my friend could fly a day later and my other friend and I could extend our trip by a day so we could still have a good experience. They had to not only make the flight changes, accommodations changes, car rental changes, as well as change our whole itinerary around. They were awesome and we would definitely book again. It was a good experience despite really challenging circumstances.

As type A people, my wife and I were skeptical at first about someone else planning a vacation for us without us knowing any of the details ahead of time, but Whym exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel was great and in a central location, the activities they booked for us were directly linked to the survey that we had filled out at the start of our journey, and the restaurants they booked were exactly the type of places we love to go to. The concierge was in contact with us the whole time and answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend Whym for anyone that is curious what an outside, third party, would book for them based on details you give ahead of time. We will definitely be doing another trip with them at some point in the future!!

Our whym trip was amazing!! Cannot recommend enough. From booking to returning home, whym was so incredibly helpful and responsive. Our trip to Minneapolis was so fun—a place we likely wouldn’t have chosen to go had it not been for this trip! Our itinerary was jam-packed with so many fun activities. The real winner for us were the restaurants! So much good food (and we’re all Philly foodies!). The people of Minneapolis were so welcoming and friendly, and our surprise itinerary activities were a blast. Thank you, Whym! We can’t wait to book again.

Our trip to New Orleans was absolutely amazing! Whym sent us to the cultural, romantic, foodie, architectural NOLA, not the pee-in-the street and flash for beads NOLA. We decided to follow their entire suggested itinerary to a tee, and we weren't sorry. They nailed our personalities because of the extensive survey you do beforehand, and that they have personal knowledge of the places they send you, so they don't send you to a bunch of tourist traps. They paced the trip perfectly, with high energy activities followed by more relaxing ones, and just enough time between each that we didn't feel like we were rushing around. We loved the contrast between high and low energy activities, upscale meals and divey ones, fancy bars and more raucous ones, and all the different cultural activities. We did SO much in a 2.5 day trip, but never once felt either overstimulated or bored. And the fun of surprise travel can't be overstated. This was the most relaxed I've ever been either before or during a trip, knowing someone else was in charge. And our Whym "concierge" was so responsive, responding back to your slightest question immediately after you text them. We will definitely be going on another Whym!

We absolutely loved our Whym vacation! I think it was one of the best vacations that my husband and I have ever had. I researched different companies and chose Whym based on reviews and a few blogs. Their questionnaire really pulled us in as I could see the variety they were asking about. The hardest part was waiting to find out where we were going, but it definitely builds up anticipation. They planned out a fantastic trip for us based on our surveys. I loved the itinerary with options after we landed. Seriously, they NAILED it! The surprises during our trip were an added bonus and we loved seeing what they would be. They were excellent communicating with us and helped when we had issues with our flights and luggage. We definitely plan to do this again and have been telling everyone about it! ?

We had a great anniversary trip! Whym nailed it. We got to brew our own beer and had a sunset picnic at the beach. We also got to go to a concert at House of Blues and a local comedy show. Just a few of the fun things they planned for us. It was so nice to not have to plan because we are terrible at making decisions on vacation. Highly recommend it!
