They are knowledgeable, personable and have great tips to make your visit more enjoyable. Truly the magical part is having Paul set up your tasting experiences. As Napa native, Paul is deeply connected. He introduces you to hidden gems, gets you in hard to access wineries, and elevates your experience. By listening to what you like and the types of tasting experiences you are looking for, he is able to truly curate a memorable excursion. We just finished our second trip with Napa Valley Wine Excursions, and will not be without them on our return trips. And he is planning for it to—making notes about places he would like to show us on our next trip.

Paul set us up on a great tour. He catered stops based on my party’s likes, and John (our driver) was very knowledgeable of the area as well as kept us on schedule so that we were able to visit 3 different vineyards on our tour. Simply amazing! After reading the reviews, I reached out to Paul months in advance to reserve a 3-day trip in June. We had some wineries picked out, but asked Paul to help fill in the gaps with some "local gems" and help us arrange lunch each day. NVWE did not disappoint. Paul and Steve met us each day with ear--to-ear smiles and treated us like royalty (and like part of the family)! We have used 3-4 different services in Napa over the years, but we have finally found the best. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

I bought my daughters recently to Napa, their first time and was fortunate enough through my research to happen upon Napa Valley Wine Excursions. I worked with Paul who was wonderfully communicative and friendly and told him what I was looking to achieve, which was a good submersion into Napa and the wines, process and wineries. We wanted unique experiences, good wines and food and for a fun, few days together. I trusted Paul to create the schedule and boy did he do us proud.

Clearly Paul is very well known in Napa - he arranged multiple small, private winery visits, curated chef experiences, tastings and up close and personal experiences with some of the smaller, local wine growers, who we discovered have some phenomenal wines, not to mention great stories and experiences. We met their families and their pets and we sat on private back porches and tasting rooms, just living it up with them. For us, this was the absolute best way to see Napa. We had less interest in the larger commercial wineries - we can taste those wines anywhere.

Paul provided all of the transport and we spent our first two days with driver Jacob who was a lot of fun and tolerated the girls having fun in his vehicle. He kept us on schedule (its easy to lose track of time) and was the perfect host, informative and singing along with our music - he was fantastic. On our third day, we had John, equally lovely and extremely educational.

When we return to Napa, we will 100% contact Paul again. They outdid themselves. Thanks Paul, Jacob and John.

Paul and John were amazing gentlemen who treated us like a lady should be treated! My friends and I had a blast! We went to 7 wineries in 2 day. They were on time and always walked us to the reservation counter and checked us in. They even had some amazing pastries for us and plenty of water. Wonderful guys! Highly recommend ? ? ? ?

Paul and his company are hands down the best in the business! A native of the area, Paul has extensive knowledge of the area, the wineries and more. He is an absolute pleasure to have around the day of your excursion. His care and respect for the group is a 10. He is charismatic and personable, and has the perfect level of professionalism for this type of trip. He took the time to make sure our itinerary flowed flawlessly throughout the day. I never had to worry about being late or early to wineries. Paul was already one step ahead. He took pictures of our group throughout the day and provided us an awesome slideshow at the end of the day to remember the experience. I couldn’t recommend Paul more! We will definitely use him for our next trip out and all of those after that.

Paul is the man! Right from the outset, Paul was communicative and timely. The process and the pricing were very transparent. His itinerary was thoughtful and not a single stop disappointed. Excellent wine, from excellent hosts, in excellent locations! On top of it all, Paul is simply a good guy who is easy to spend a day with. He was clearly well liked and respected by all of the vintners and hosts, as well - a telling sign. If, hopefully when, my wife and I return to Napa, we will absolutely seek out Paul for another day or even two of wine tasting! Finally, to those with sticker shock, it's worth every penny. If you are on a budget, prioritizing Paul over any number of overpriced restaurants or "high end"-name brand tastings is a smart choice.
