This company is simply amazing! I used them to decorate for my 60th birthday party in 2021. Marlene listened to my ideas and then made it even better than I could have dreamed. It was a 1960's theme. The event was outside and they came the day before to set everything up. We had tents, tables, decor, lighting, and even a dance floor. It was better than perfect. Then I called Marlene again to decorate for my wedding and reception at Tierra Oaks Golf Course in May of 2023. The wedding was outside and the decor was fabulous! They came the day before to set up and then again the day of for the final touches. She provided beautiful chairs and a unique arch which was decorated with live flowers. The reception was inside and simply stunning! She did draping in my favorite colors with fairy lights. She provided, tables, chairs, linens and just everything! Marlene and her team really listen to whatever your vision is and then make it come true. I would never use any other company. Thank you Marlene and A Planned Affair!

Marlene was easy to talk to from day 1! We had an unconventional wedding so we loved that she had access to rental items for both weddings and any other kind of event we could have wanted. She had so much experience to guide us through everything that we wanted. She easily shared our vision and the cost for us was minimal compared to the savings we gained because of her expertise. Would go back to Marlene a thousand times!

I should have asked around, this company is known for being rude and having poor customer service. I would shop around before booking with a planned affair. The owner is very unprofessional and out right rude. We were very disappointed with the lack of care from the staff and delivery/pick up. I asked for them to do a check off list at pick up twice and they would not. Don’t plan on your deliveries happening on time. Staff was rude at drop off. I will be sure to share my experience so others hopefully don’t have to. Our delivery was over 5 hours late and really put us in a bad situation setting up for our event. There was no compensation for the mistake. Very disappointing, in the future I will use snow or rustic charm.
