We just had an AMAZING excursion in Trinidad with Tiffney! Everything was even better than we could’ve imagined. The AirBnB was beautiful and comfortable and fit our group perfectly. I was a little nervous, but our guides Nick and Alex with Kayak Trinidad were so professional, competent and knowledgeable. We learned so much and had a blast! Thanks to Headwaters Adventure Co and Tiffney for putting this together and for the fabulous dinner.

We signed up for a group kayak adventure with Headwaters Adventure Company through Tiffney and we had a really great time! The house we stayed in at Trinidad, CA was comfortable and fun with foosball, pinball, a hot tub and smores! The guides from Kayak Trinidad took us out on Trinidad Bay where we saw seals and a momma and baby seal and some big rollers! They were quick to respond to any emergency and we felt very comfortable kayaking with them. Headwaters treated everyone to a fabulous dinner afterwards! Thank you Headwaters and thank you Tiffney!

Headwaters offers top of the line equipment, knowledge, and lessons to help others whatever their experience level may be. My husband and I want to learn river kayaking, and decided to take a lesson with Tiffany. This lesson far exceeded our expectations!!! She was incredibly friendly, welcoming us into the paddling community. Our lesson covered EVERYTHING from safety precautions to self rescue and even rescuing others that may be in a crisis. We had ample time to practice and receive feedback to correct our techniques. And she always explained everything in depth, which is extremely helpful for me. We highly recommend Headwaters, and taking a lesson with Tiffany. She'll make sure you have all the tools to have safe outings on the water, and have a ton of fun in the process!

Paddled the inaugural Lake Redding Regatta hosted by Headwaters Adventure Company this Sunday August 24 and had a perfect time! SUP and kayak racing events, one mile upstream and one mile downstream. The weather and water were ideal and the atmosphere was wonderful. Good food, excellent drinks and a great crowd of entrants of all skill levels. Whether you’re not sure you can paddle or you know you can, get out there and join in next year!

We rented a raft to float from Redding to Anderson through Headwater Rafting. I had purchased a certificate at an auction for a 1/2 day rental and sandwiches from San Francisco Deli. We had a fabulous day! There were 6 of us on the boat. Tiffney called us in advance to confirm our slot and check if we’d need a ride back. She met us the morning of to go through waivers, outfit us with life jackets, share tips for the float, and make sure we successfully launched. She shared with us when to call the shop for our ride back. The gentleman who picked us up was extremely helpful and loaded the raft back up quickly. We had an awesome time on the Sacramento River and hope to do it again!

Brian and the Headwaters team were *totally* helpful in assisting the planning of our multi-day canoe trip down the Sacramento. Recommendations on camp sites, hikes, etc., and also accommodated timing and other needs. We'd definitely use them again!

All the staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent service. Bryan picked out a Dagger, Stratos for me to use for the 2 CRQ clinics and the California River Quest race. I thought the kayak was very stable and safe for a first time Sacramento river paddler like me.

Tiffany was great with handling the rental as well as coordinating boat return after the clinics & race when the shop had already closed. She was particularly helpful in providing insights to certain sections of the river and moral support.

I would rent or purchase from Headwaters anytime if I am in the Redding area.
