She has so much experience and has great relationships with vendors that can handle every detail… AND she is quick on her feet to problem solve! Alyssa made our wedding day stress free and ensured that we had the best day EVER! It truly was a magical day and we were so grateful that she was there to handle ALL of the ends and outs of the day. Alyssa was heaven sent! I was in my first year of PhD school and she took some of the biggest “wedding planning stress” off my hands. I had many of my vendors already picked out (location, caterer, florist, cake person), but I still went with her full package because after meeting her, I knew I needed all of her smiles and positive vibes to be with me through the whole process. She made my outside wedding an over the top success.

Alyssa met with my mother and I multiple times at the venue to discuss layout, to-do’s, planning, etc. She reminded us on things that aren’t on blogs or binders and gave great insight from her own experience. The biggest help was her relationships with vendors and having her be the go to person for all of them. I appreciate Alyssa more and more as I hear brides-to-be talk about how much they "can't wait till their wedding is over" because of all of the communication that goes into dealing with multiple vendors. She took tremendous stress off me and my mother. In fact, I cried at the end of my wedding because I didn't want it to end!

There were many obstacles with weather (drizzling right before I walked down the aisle to say I do) and thunderstorms the night before (ground being pretty wet), however, she made my dream wedding happen. She was out there wiping down chairs right before I walked down the aisle, just so my guest would be comfortable sitting down. Her assistant was absolutely amazing and so helpful for the money dance. My husband and I danced the night away and did not eat one bite of the delicious food at the wedding, so what did Alyssa do? Packed us multiple to go boxes and had it waiting for us in our room!

Advice to brides debating on wedding planner or not – hire Alyssa! Do not put the “day of” stress on your mother or bridesmaids! Alyssa is a professional and I cannot say enough great things about how much she will allow you to enjoy YOUR DAY! After watching my wedding video and wedding photos, it confirmed even more how thankful we were to have her! I am forever grateful that I was able to let loose (maybe a little too much ?) and have fun at my wedding because she was taking care of all the behind the scene work!

There are so many wonderful things I can say about Alyssa and her wedding coordination services. My mom and I sought her out for month-of wedding coordination. She was such a huge help to my mom during this time as I was out of the country for work and Alyssa was able to provide her with so much valuable insight and help.

Our vendors had nothing but praise for her perfectly executed coordination. The rehearsal ran like clockwork and she made absolute sure everyone knew exactly what to do and when. The ceremony and reception were breathtaking and both went off without a hitch. Alyssa made sure my mom and I didn't have to worry about anything on the wedding day.

The reception was outside and unfortunately it started to drizzle a bit right before the first dance was scheduled. Without missing a beat, Alyssa was able to move around the timeline so my husband and I could wait it out. When the weather didn't let up, she talked me into braving the rain and I cannot thank her enough because it was such a perfect and romantic first dance in the rain.

I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Alyssa Arlene Events for your wedding. She is exactly the person you want to help you coordinate. From tracking down lost cummerbunds to tying bustles, she made sure everything ran smoothly and I cannot thank her enough for helping make our wedding day so special.
