My wife and I booked a night here. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed a second night. The bedding and linens were exceptional. We stayed in the African Suite. The house has more antiquities than some museums. David and Alex are incredible hosts. I felt special being welcomed into their home. They put the Breakfast back in Bed and Breakfast! Alex makes a custom blend of tea that we absolutely loved. The attention to detail and hospitality make you feel very special.
We will be back! Can’t wait to see what treats Alex has waiting for us when we return!

This is one of the most lovely places we have stayed, ever! We've been to dozens of hotels, B&B's and everything in between and this was one of our top experiences. The rooms and hotel are all exquisitely furnished while still being wonderfully comfy. Alex went above and beyond for us and made our stay fantastic. Breakfast was amazing, too. Can't recommend this place enough, definitely will be coming again!

We have recently spent 3 nights at Shiraz Boutique B&B and I strongly recommend it. The place is beautiful and elegant, and the hosts are fantastic. Especially Alex who goes out of his way to make sure that you have a pleasant time. He also gives all sorts of tips so you can make the most of your time in the area. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and you have your own private jacuzzi that is what you need after a day of hiking. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back.

We were more than impressed with our stay. It definitely looks nice online, but when we arrived and started to notice all the little details, we were blown away. I have very rarely been treated with such hospitality and especially enjoyed our mini tour of their lovely antiques and artworks. The little tea service they brought up to our room made me feel very pampered as I soaked in the tub. Breakfast exceeded expectations, especially since I am Celiac and we had booked with short notice, so I was not expecting to be able to eat much, but they were so kind to check all the ingredients and prepare me a meal that left me ready to take on the day! We send a very wholehearted thanks to David and Alex and hope to be able to stay in your wonderful home again sometime.

The property is located a bit north of Crescent City in a serene locale among redwood trees. Walking into the stately building was an immersive experience into eclectic tasteful beauty and a sense of cherished surroundings.
I stayed in the African Safari room. The decor was delightful, elegant in a comfortable way, and truly a treat. Each bedroom suite has its own unique decor.
I enjoyed a long soak in a spa tub, then relaxed in the plush bed. The linens were silky and fresh.
Breakfast in the company of my fellow borders was delicious. Alex was a fabulous host.

My family & I spent three nights at Shiraz Boutique earlier this month, occupying two beautiful suites (Asian Dreams & African Safari) and experiencing one of our best stay aways.

Located at the proximity of nature, the hotel's building is eye-catching from the outside and very original & charming in the inside. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the co-owners Alex & David who briefed us on some of local attractions over tea & biscuits.

We found our suites super spacious, clean and comfortable with truly exotic decorations, nice balcony and a jacuzzi that screamed "try me"! Over the next three days, we enjoyed delicious home made breakfasts (each day slightly different from the previous one) offered by Alex in an exquisite setting and in generous portions. We also benefited from the suites' calm & quiet at night, the hotel's easy access to the national parks on one hand and to the shipping facilities on the other. Last but not least, we appreciated that the owners were so friendly & hospitable, well organized and accommodating to our needs. In all fairness, what Shiraz Boutique has to offer is worthwhile even if they had charged twice as they currently do!

Staying at Shiraz Boutique was the highlight of our 12 day roadtrip and an experience anyone passing through that region should gain.

Meticulously decorated and beautifully furnished neoclassical B & B, with one-of-a-kind antiques and art pieces from various parts of the world, selected by our dear host Alex.
Serene ambience, impeccably clean and inviting rooms. The crystal decanter with sherry liquor in each room put a permanent smile on our faces. Our first stay felt like we were home with good, old friends.
Comfortable beds and very spacious rooms and bathrooms (we got a tour of the thematic rooms - British, African, Asian). My friend and I loved staying in the British room, selected for the two large beds.
During our January 3-night stay, we also enjoyed Alex's freshly brewed saffron tea over leisure conversations in the cozy living room fireplace and dining room, where we socialized in the company of a 19th-century Iranian vase and an exquisite, antique cigarette music box carousel. We included hot, fresh breakfast to our perfect stay.
Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park, only a short drive away, is a fantastic sample of Old Growth forest.
