I ventured to Crescent City for a portion of my solo birthday trip. I'm a horse lover at heart, and couldn't decide which ride to do- so I did both! I was so appreciative of the team, including the horses, for their expertise, safeness, and welcoming attitudes! I am a larger rider and they were easily able to accommodate me with their draft crosses, Willow & Ginger! As a former horse owner, you can tell the truly care about their horses. They give them days off, rotate them, and know a lot about their team! Both of the rides were absolutely breathtaking. I would absolutely recommend riding with Lori and her team!

What a wonderful experience! We booked online and it made it super easy to coordinate. When we arrived, the guides introduced themselves and then paired us with our horse. Each horse is selected to match their riders weight, height and ability level. Then, they are spaced out in the order the horses prefer to ride in. The ride was beautiful - beginning through scrub trails and emerging onto the coastal beach. Beautiful mist and shoreline made for a private ride of tranquility. The ride was 2 hours but it felt like I could have ridden another 6 hrs! The owner and her assistant were so kind to my family which included 2 young children. After we got back to the trailers, she even gave my sons little plastic horses to remember their time! The horses were well fed, healthy, trained and nothing like the emaciated ones on larger commercialized trail rides. You can tell the owner loves her horses and it shows. Just a reminder, as not many seem to: please bring cash or ask for their venmo to tip the guides. They deserve it, no matter how much you offer, to give back to the dedication and effort they put in. As an equine owner myself, I applaud any small business that find a way to care for horses and introduce novices to the sport. Besides, isn't a ride on a beach everyone's dream?!

I took my 14 year old daughter and a friend. The guides were awesome. I loved the personalities of all the horses. I was on Boots and he was quite the character! Great ride and we had the beach to ourselves. Definitely recommend!

Went on the beach trail ride today and it was amazing. I have never rode a horse before and the guides made me comfortable and made for a great ride. The horses were all so cute and well trained. One of the best experiences ever! 10000 out of 10

My wife and I had a great day and an excellent ride. The redwood trail was awesome and made the ride perfect. Our leaders were great too. Personal service and instructions were very good. We will be back for sure. Oh and a tip of the hat to our horses, Billie and Mocha. Thank you again for making our day great.

Hosts were excellent and so welcoming. Their horses are well trained for trail riding and didn’t make me anxious. They offer a stair step to get on the horse if needed. The timing of the ride coincides with low tide on the beach.
