Right in the middle of the redwoods and near the smith river. They were replenishing the gift store while I was there and it appears they have been very busy. Lots of fun banana slug items and other cool things to get as a souvenir. They have maps of the park and lots of parking available for cars, some RV parking available.

Beautiful little visitor center in Redwood State Park that has educational exhibits about the trees and habitat. They also have a great shop where you can purchase items related to the redwood trees. The rangers were also friendly and helpful.

Very pretty little grove of Redwood trees. Trail was a loop and not very long, but you could make it longer if you also went along the river. Very majestic trees.

Like all national park visitor centers, the rangers on duty are so helpful suggesting hikes and answering questions. There is a cute gift shop here as well. Its worth a stop to learn about the northern part of the park.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Staff directed us to a new trail where we could hike to see some amazing redwoods. Trail conditions were OK but there was a recent storm and debris and obstacles were on the trail.

Nice visitor center that has an area where you can get information from park rangers. They were very helpful on providing information about current park conditions and events. There's also an information board area along with some really good educational displays. In the same building is a nice gift shop that had a good selection of items.

Great information. Didn't realize there was a drivable scenic tour to see these beautiful redwoods until we talked to the ranger. Not a lot of merchandise offered at this location, but you can still get your NP stamp, stickers, etc here. There are restrooms outside this facility.

The staff is nice and friendly. He gave us a map for the park and also told us the history about redwood forest!
