I cannot recommend Magic Planned enough.

I had never been to Disney World and wanted to maximize my family's experience without spending $$ on things that weren't worthwhile. And I had a lot of requirements--I wanted it to be focused on things that would be fun for my toddler, while ensuring the adults had a good time too; I wanted enough flexibility for toddler naps; and I only had 3.5 days.

Having an unparalleled Disney expert design our trip was the best decision. Ruth knew all of the right questions to ask up front and throughout to customize our experience and make the most of the limited time we had. She simplified and explained the often overwhelming and complicated "Disneyisms" and broke things down in enough detail--and at exactly the right times--to ensure everything not only went smoothly but felt like it was unfolding naturally. She not only ensured the deadly serious things like food allergies were taken care of, but also used our son's current preferences and abilities to reserve a hotel that captivated him (Pop Century, on the Skyliner) as well as the kinds of character experiences, rides, and activities he would love--at the right parks. She knew the kind of room and amenities we would need, was always honest about the rides and add-ons that weren't worth the money, informed us about additional discounts available to us even if they weren't typically a part of her agency resources, and gave us options without inducing any kind of decision fatigue.

Even when we threw a curveball at her by forgetting our stroller, she immediately provided us with options for rental that wouldn't derail our timeline.

In the end, two overworked, sometimes anxious adults and a toddler ended up having the time of our lives. I have traveled a lot and previously I always enjoyed planning my own trips. I've even been known to dismiss others' vacations that seemed overly structured with no room for the "magic of spontaneity" or "genuine" cultural experiences. But this experience with Magic Planned has totally transformed my beliefs about travel agents. As it turns out, having someone take all the work and stress out of planning truly creates the room to enjoy spontaneous, magical moments and makes limited time and money go so much further.

Thanks to Magic Planned, we had a wonderful, stress free experience at Disneyland that truly "got our money's worth." If you aren't sure a travel planner is worth it, these two definitely are. Ruth knows Disneyland like the back of her hand and crafts an experience that we could NEVER have done ourselves despite being experienced world travelers. With a 4 year old and a 2 year old, we were ready for an another exhausting vacation. Ruth made sure it wasn't. She helped us navigate the Disney app effectively and plan a schedule of rides and attractions that kept our children engaged and the lines short. A testament to this fact is that our 4 year old walked the ENTIRE park on our final day in giddy anticipation of what was to come. Frankly, I'm not sure anyone can do Disney the way Magic Planned can.

Kudos to Magic Planned Travel!
On short notice they put together an amazing journey through Scotland and Ireland. I spent three weeks seeing the sights without any issues. Hotels, transportation, and tour groups were top notch.
