My wife setup a farmers market shopping + cooking experience for me for a birthday weekend in Healdsburg. This was hands-down one of the best cooking experiences/gifts ever! Chef Donna is awesome. She’s super passionate about food, flavor, and seasonality. Her energy and friendliness at the farmers market is amazing (20yrs of doing this and knowing every grower and farm). Back in the kitchen we had wine, food, and a fantastic time all working together cooking (and eating!) an amazing multi-course meal. It was a whole-day experience and absolutely worth it!! Sign up! You won’t regret it. 🙂

Overall great experience and team bonding exercise for a company event. Loved that we were able to check out the Grapeseed art gallery while the food was cooking. When we returned the classroom set up was turned into a dining set up decorated with flowers.

Wine was flowing and they accommodated for the vegetarians.

I just wasn't a fan of how we students cooked the food. Maybe we didn't follow instructions and under salted? My favorites were the bacon wrapped asparagus, which were waiting for us at Grapeseed. For dinner, i enjoyed the salad, followed by the mushrooms in the chicken meal, and the strawberry dessert was absolutely delicious. My chicken and frittata were both under salted - but this i believe is fault to the students.

I visited Relish for two events: cooking with local winemakers, and a mushroom foray & lunch. The owner, Donna, is so warm and welcoming, and her passion for cooking is clear! It’s impossible not to share in the joy and excitement of food when you're at Relish’s experiences. I had a great time meeting locals and new friends, and learning about wine and food while getting to enjoy them at the same time. Their experiences are both educational and delicious! Definitely one of the highlights of my visit to Healdsburg.

There are not enough stars to rate Relish. Donna and her team were amazing. We celebrated my sisters 60th birthday and we had a blast. Preparing our meal with beautiful farm to table produce and the whole ambiance was outstanding. I highly recommend Relish and thank you for giving us such a memorable experience!

I came here for a Mother's Day brunch cooking class with my mom and dad. We had a great time!

The class was about $100 a person, covering three glasses of wine, coffee, and a brunch menu of five items, plus the class. Not cheap, but certainly not outrageous. The class was about 24 people with about 5 instructors. We made a citrus pecan salad, smoked salmon crostini, crab cakes, poached eggs and potatoes, and banana bread. The recipes were certainly approachable, as was the main chef and his staff. If anything, I'd say the recipes could have been more adventurous - this felt like normal things I make at home, and while that was fun, doing something a little more special would have been nice. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, though, and all the ingredients locally sourced within 10 miles. Overall, a great way to spend Mother's Day!

Relish is elegant, playful and delicious. It is a friendly and wonderful space to learn every DIY food craft you've ever dreamed of. Giving someone you love a class here is definitely the very best, won't-ever-gather-dust in the garage, will-always-be remembered kind of gift.
