Our family did the Rainforest Trek tour last year with Zach and had a fantastic time! He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we learned a lot while exploring a beautiful forest and beach! I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ketchikan! ?

Amazing! We hiked and toured with our wonderful guide named Jeff. He gave us so much information about the local tribes and their traditions. It was 3 hours. Hiked thru the rain forest and learned about so many plants and animals. Visited a beach with seals swimming near. Then visited a totem visitors center. So much history and art information. Small group too.

Thank you Wild Life Tours for picking us up right where we de-boarded our cruise and made it so easy. Jeff was an outstanding tour guide and shared his local knowledge as we drove to the Tongass Park. Great (easy) walk through the forest, unfortunately didn’t see large wildlife but a few toads and tried some fresh berries along the way. The second half of the excursion at the Totem Pole park was interesting and beautiful little park. Highly recommend this excursion if you stop in Ketchikan on a cruise!

We had the most fun on our whole trip with Zach on our hike and totem park tour. He was friendly and unbelievably knowledgeable about every plant, tree and animal we came across. He also shared great stories about the history of the land which he is clearly so passionate about. He went above and beyond in every way, including jumping in the river to try and catch some salmon!
He told us about his mom and all of her remarkable achievements. I'm sure she is as proud of him as he is of her!

I took the Rainforest walk/Totem Park tour hosted by Zach last week. Zach knew his way around Ketchikan and got us right to the park (after a quick stop for amazing coffee and tea). He was warm and engaging bringing out the best of our small group of travelers. I didn't know the others in our group until this tour. We're now lifetime friends! This was the highlight of our week long cruise.

The hike was easy and showed the geography of this area. He knew these plants and explained this unusual forest ecosystem well. The stream along the path took us right out on the beach where we saw (and held) a salmon and a sea star!

The totem park was crowded from other tours, but Zach found a way to show us the best totems and told some wonderful stories behind them.

- [ ] After reading some disheartening reviews, I felt compelled to speak about our experience today. Our entire week in Alaska and on other tours do not compare to the fun we had with Zach on our hike and totem park tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable like a walking encyclopaedia! He shared amazing stories about the heritage and lineage of the land which he is so passionate about. On our private tour, we were able to tell him what we wanted out of the tour, and every destination was hit! He told us all about his adventures here in Alaska, and is so incredibly humble! He is the epitome of someone who goes above and beyond, including jumping in the river to try and catch some salmon! We have not stopped talking about our amazing adventure today with Zach and cannot recommend Wild Wolf Tours enough! He would get 100 stars if we could rate him that way! My family and I took the rainforest hike and totem park walk with Zach in May and it was fantastic! His passion and reverence for nature is undeniable. We enjoyed learning about the local flora and fauna and his tour of the totem park was both fascinating and educational. I would recommend this tour to anyone! We really appreciated having Zach as our tour guide, he was so down to earth and fun! Thank you so much for your wonderful service Zach, you made our excursion and my brother-in-law's birthday a day we will always remember!

My husband and I went on the Rainforest hike and Totem Pole Park with Tracy as our guide. She was right at the meeting point on time and took us to her comfy van and cranked on the AC…who knew it would be warm in Alaska in August..not me! Tracy has been doing tours for 16 years and her professionalism and knowledge showed…safe driving, excellent sightseeing points on the way and she interweaves stories about her growing up in Alaska and the local culture and customs. Very informative and she got us back in plenty of time to board our ship so we would NOT be a viral video of us running frantically on the dock while the ship is leaving. I highly recommend Tracy and the Wild Wolf Tours to anyone visiting Ketchikan.
