Brett and I just cannot say enough about Jordan and AKhappenings. After interviewing another local planner, we felt deflated and disenchanted as we were told that our dream helicopter elopement was out of reach and nearly impossible. Meeting with Jordan was a long exhale. She flawlessly coordinated an intimate elopement for our group of 8 (+ toddler) in ways we just could not have imagined. Her contacts and preferred vendors were amazing. They worked together so beautifully throughout our rainy day and solved problems long before we even knew they existed. Helicopters plucked each of us in groups from Seward, AK and dropped us off in the most remote glacial dreamscape complete with a chef and his gourmet menu, top-shelf tequila, a dream photographer and videography duo, and the most sincerely helpful pilots available, before finishing the evening on our beachfront cabin, chef-prepared lavish gourmet menu, show-stopping florals, and decor that spoke to our esthetic with precision. Our vision came to complete life and we cannot recommend Jordan enough. If you know what you want, she knows how to make exactly that happen. Thank you! < cue happy tears > Love, Brett & Chanelle

She kept us on track, asked all the write questions, provided suggestions and insight, and helped make sure we had covered all our bases. Especially doing a destination wedding in Alaska. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Jordan! As out-of-towners, we were nervous about finding the right venue, vendors, and pricing without being able to meet anyone in person. Jordan helped plan all of this and the rest of our big day from over 4,000 miles away. She was able to give us honest recommendations on venues based on our vision and personalities and her connections in the Alaskan wedding network allowed us to have plenty of vendors to choose from. Throughout the planning process, Jordan was a calming and encouraging presence. She answered all of our questions, listened to all of our worries and helped us problem-solve the few times we needed to. We had a bartender fall through shortly before our wedding and Jordan was able to connect us to a new vendor on very short notice who was phenomenal. As our wedding day got closer, Jordan went above and beyond to help our day go smoothly - picking up rentals, staying longer to help breakdown, etc. We are forever grateful to her for helping our dream day come true.

Also just to note, she helped us plan our wedding WHILE PLANNING HERS and still managed to make our day go off without a hitch. If you're on the fence about hiring someone, we couldn't recommend Jordan more.
