Feb 2024. Our first time here. It was awesome snowshoeing. The staff was great. There was so much new snow to tromp through. We broke our own trails in the snowshoe area. Virgin snow and amazing trees. Epic weather added to our day. We will return in the future. We might even try Nordic skiing next time up.

Wow y'all!! This was all a first for me! First time to the Nordic Center and my first time to attempt cross country skiing!! It was all a pretty awesome experience!! My hubby is an avid snowboarder and I know how to ski but, I do NOT like riding the ski lifts so, I never go with him. We're both pretty stoked that we've found this activity that we both enjoy and can do together!!

The Mt. Shasta Nordic Center was a great ski rental experience! The staff and volunteers were helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to provide equipment and suggestions for a variety of skill levels. Dante was especially helpful!

One of the best spots I ever camped at! Beautiful views, and very peaceful. Free camping at its best. I will definitely camp there again.

There’s just a yurt here you don’t go to the downtown location just go to the spot directly to ski or snow shoe and pay/get your gear straight from the trailer there. Super chill spot, love going here every year.

So wonderful to have this so close to home. Great selection of well maintained trails for both skate and Nordic ski. Also don't miss out on the snow shoe trails. Super helpful staff ?
