I cannot express how awesome charter fishing with Captain Darren and Captain Pete was! We were originally scheduled to go halibut fishing but were unable to due to high winds. In order to get us on the water Captain Pete drove his boat from the sound end of Ketchikan to the north end and then both Captains picked us up and drove us to the north marina.

We were quickly into the fish and it was pretty steady action. Plenty of pinks and silvers with the occasional king. Darren went out of his way to get the boat set up with our favorite drinks and even provided some delicious homemade salmon spread. I've been on quite a few salmon charters on Lake Michigan and they paled in comparison to this experience.

If that was not enough, just look at how much fish we caught in just under 6 hours.

Captian Darren is the best around. He is the sweetest guy and extremely honest! He works hard for everyone of his clients so they can have the best fishing trip! He cares about you being happy and goes above and beyond to make your experience wonderful! This is our second time vacationing in Alaska and fishing with Darren. We love him and I know you will too! Great guy!

What can I say other than Capn D was an incredible charter skipper. His knowledge of the area and current fishing conditions put us at the top of Ketchikan fish counts for 2 days! We spent full fishing days hitting the area hard; salmon conditions were not great. However we put a bunch of halibut on board and was culling out the smaller ones rather quickly, keeping the largest for freezing and the trip home. I honestly can't say how much D did for our experience in Southeast Alaska and highly, strongly, whole-heartedly recommend booking your trips with him. He also makes a killer dip and if you're nice to him he might share it with you. I wouldn't fish with anyone but him in the Ketchikan area.
