Great little hotel. They called me ahead of time to see if I was arriving before 9pm, which I wasn't. So they went ahead and put the keys to my room in an accessible place and turned on the heat to the room. On site restaurant and bar is nice. Free 8kWh charging on either a Tesla NACS plug or J-1772 plug is a huge perk knowing I can get back on the road with 100% charge in the morning!

The location in Shasta was perfect! Loved the ambiance of the property and the room. Very cozy! Lots of closet space and a good-sized bathroom. We really felt at home. Close to a few restaurants.

What we didn't like was that we didn't stay longer. It was such a relaxing atmosphere.

The motel was clean and quiet. Check in is only until 9 p.m. which was a problem for me. I had to drive faster after dark than I like to in order to make it by the deadline, though apparently there is a way to do so after that time.

There were no chairs, only a couple high stools. A shower, no bathtub though I believe some rooms have them.

The sheets were very nice, high thread count cotton. I like the new-to-me policy of there being an envelope so that a tip can be left for the person who cleans your room. Since service workers are paid such low wages this is how we can help out at least until a realistic minimum wage law is passed.

The cable TV has 2 Fox channels but guess what? No CNN. Do they only want Republican customers? I won't be back nor will I recommend the place.

Great hotel off the main Shasta strip. Rooms were cozy, and included a hair dryer, microwave and fridge. The staff was friendly too, so overall I would definitely stay again. Really liked the shampoo samples they had. This hotel was also pet friendly!

Location is great, obviously. Pretty fair price considering the other hotels in the area. Especially the Best Western Pepper Tree with their basic rooms and basic accomodations and often times the poor service of the customer service agents.

Super easy to book online on their website and I had chosen the time slot to arrive between 7-9 which I appreciated that there was a time slot that I could pick as I was traveling from Washington State and was not 100% sure on the time that I would arrive. Just a quick passover. Stayed from 9:30 to 6:30 and I was worried that I would not make it in time and would have to deal with some sort of after hours check in which oftentimes results in having to sleep in your car when nobody is available to check you in. On that note, one of the employees, by the name Mikey reached out to me at approximately 7:10 and ask me what my time of arrival would be and I told him that I wasn't completely sure and that it very well me likely be outside of the time slot that I had booked for arrival. Mikey advises me that that would be okay and that they could arrange an after-hour check-in service. He walked me through all the details, sent me very specific pictures and instructions. He also left breakfast bags for us in the room that isn't typical of their policy or procedure. Made me feel extremely accommodated especially when we all know that we've had those experiences with hotels that we literally write negative reviews about... I have had hundreds of really bad hotel experiences and this was honestly by far one of the best. Super accommodating, super respectful, and the room was nice for the price and the area. Honestly kind of felt like being at an almost luxury hotel but in a really small town where they take their customer service very seriously. I wish there were more Mikey's in the world working at hotels and at other customer service-based businesses in general. Literally his service was well above what was expected, let alone what is typical. Thank you for a good experience staying in your property, Mikey.

I was very surprised at how big the rooms are here. However was very quickly disappointed at how disgusting the bathroom shower curtain was! Absolutely gross and needs to washed! The towels did not feel clean at all had had holes and disgusting stains! Thank goodness I bring my own cleaning stuff and disinfectant the bathroom and tub myself.

It’s a nice motel. Shower heads are good. Towels soft. Bed comfortable.
While I appreciate a well lit parking lot, those same floodlights should not shine into the room. Also the 5kK lightbulb in the rooms are a little severe. (I have a thing about lighting) I have been coming every year for the last 20. Current owners have done a good job.

I haven't had the opportunity to stay yet. I had to cancel reservations due to travel issues. However, I wanted to review the service I received over the phone. Friendly, helpful, understanding. I believe it was Danner, or Tanner who helped. I look forward to my stay in the near future bc of this customer service.
