We hired Denise back in 2018 to help us plan our wedding. We had a lot of ideas but honestly didn't really know where to start! In our initial meeting, we naturally hit it off, and she was professional yet made sure that we also had fun. Denise really helped us stay organized and accountable throughout the entire process and was very responsive whenever we had thoughts, questions, or some crazy ideas that we wanted to run by her!

Somehow, she managed to help us take our vision (and crazy ideas) and bring them to life! We had two separate venues for the ceremony and the reception, and therefore handling logistics was key. Denise never wavered from the challenge, nor did she ever brush aside any of our crazy ideas. In fact, she embraced them, helped us brainstorm ways we can incorporate them, and then executed on our vision. The reception space was a Chinese restaurant, but she worked directly with the vendors to really transform the space into what we had envisioned and more! Getting that all done was truly teamwork, and throughout the process Denise was really on our team!

On the day of the wedding, Denise and her team were always by our side and always working. As the bride, I always had someone from her team by my side to keep me calm even when the nerves were kicking in. Though it might not seem like a significant thing to plan for at the time, Denise and her team always made sure my husband and I had some quiet time to just simply eat. Looking back now, it was just so important and really emphasized how much Denise and her team also cared about our well-being on a day with a full agenda!

Six years and two kids later, we still think about our wedding day. We truly cannot thank Denise and her team enough for being there for us, and we highly recommend her!

I had the pleasure to work with Denise for my wedding 9 years ago! I still look back fondly on my wedding day.
My journey for the perfect wedding began with the selection of a wedding planner. I knew going into the planning process that we needed to find the right wedding planner to pull off what turned out to be a very complicated wedding. Our wedding consisted of a 2-day event. It included a Friday night rehearsal dinner, a Saturday Catholic wedding followed by a reception, a Sunday Tea ceremony, and formal sit down dinner. This meant two different caterers, two different venues and two different programs. To make things worse, I only had 7 months to the wedding date. This is quite a challenge for any planner and some would say it can’t be done. We met with two planners and they both were a little nervous about the scope and timing. Both tried to scale down the event and convince us that making it simpler would be the best route. Feeling discouraged, we decided to meet with one more planner and then make a decision. Denise was that third planner. From the first time we met her, she was enthusiastic and excited to work with us. She did not try to change our plans our steer us in any alternate directions. She just focused on what we wanted for our wedding. I am very picky, and I tend to want control of everything. I wanted everything to be perfect. Denise took this all in stride. She took my apprehension and encouraged me to let go and enjoy the process. She was always happy and upbeat, full of energy and hard working. But her biggest assets was that she was amazingly organized. We had so many moving parts to our wedding. She kept it all together and moving forward. She kept us on track and was the point of contact for all my vendors.Everything came off without a hitch, from the decorations, flowers, place setting. Denise made sure we kept on schedule with a timeline on the day of the wedding. We would not have been able to do it without Denise. She had the ability to understand what I wanted even when I could not verbalize!

One of the things we were was most worried about going into the wedding was not being able to fully enjoy the day, as we'd heard so many couples say that happens. But thanks to Denise, we were able to be fully present and savor every moment. It was such a gift as is she.

That’s how good she is. Her attention to detail and seamless event coordination always stood out. I had the unfortunate experience of hiring Denise for my wedding, and I regret it deeply. From the start, the entire process was marred by disorganization, poor communication, disrespect and a complete lack of professionalism. Denise's priority is making sure and forcing you to hire all of her vendors that she has connections with for her own benefit. Instead of prioritizing my wedding vision and building my own team, her focus was making sure she was making her referral money and being “comfortable” instead of prioritizing me as the bride and my comfort and vision.

While I expected a wedding planner to alleviate the stress of the big day and ensure that everything ran smoothly, what I got instead was someone who was disorganized, frazzled and completely incompetent. Denise consistently made the planning process difficult by failing to keep track of details, missing deadlines, and not following up on critical tasks. I was left to handle issues that should have been addressed by her and her team, often at the last minute. Her communication with the vendors was extremely disorganized causing vendors to show up at the wrong place and time for each wedding event.

On the wedding weekend itself, things only worsened. Rather than providing support and guidance, Denise was rude and disrespectful to everyone – from my family and guests to the vendors working the event. Several of our vendors, who have been in the industry for years, commented on how unpleasant and unprofessional her behavior was. My guests relayed to me both during and after the event that they were yelled at by Denise, they were told to get up while they were still eating, and they were yelled at and clapped at to move faster during the buffet line at the wedding. Several of my guests had the same experience with Denise during all three days of my wedding and were extremely disturbed by her behavior towards them. This was extremely frustrating and embarrassing to hear from my guests.

In a wedding planner, one expects reliability, professionalism, and a focus on making the day as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately, Denise fell far short of these expectations. Working with Denise for an entire year planning my wedding was the most stressful and difficult time for me. Every moment was a battle and it was incredibly unpleasant trying to fight for what I wanted for my wedding. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere for a planner who will prioritize the couple and treat both the event and the people involved with the respect and care they deserve.
