My husband Jesse and I chose the services of Sheriah Gibson and Posh Occasions for the coordination and planning of our October 2024 Wedding. It was a pleasure working with Sheriah and her team. Although wedding planning can be hectic and overwhelming, it was a comfort knowing Sheriah was readily available to help with the biggest to the smallest of details and decisions pertaining to our special day. Her professionalism, efficiency, organizational and time management skills were shown brightly as our wedding day ran smoothly. Everything was BEAUTIFUL!!! We were ecstatic to see our vision come to life. We entrusted Sheriah, the Posh team, and the wonderful vendors with our dreams and they executed the plan perfectly in to a dream come true. Working with Sheriah to plan our wedding was the best decision I could have made! We were planning our wedding long-distance and having boots on the ground was something we needed. Sheriah was detail-oriented when it came to addressing all of our needs/wants/dreams for the big day and all the surrounding events. She was great at breaking all the decisions and planning into small bite-sized pieces so I didn't get overwhelmed while going through the process. I loved how hard she worked to make sure we could have everything we wanted - and was conscious of budget throughout our time working together. Something that was really important to me in choosing a wedding planner was having someone on board who had good connections to vendors who would speak to the tone of our day and mesh well with us. Sheriah certainly had that! She made suggestions as who would be good for the vibe we wanted, but the decision was ultimately ours. However, her suggestions were truly wonderful and helped make our day beautiful and special. Where I really got to see Sheriah work her magic was in the day-of coordinating. She made sure our day ran smoothly, on-schedule, and as laid out in our plan. It took away all the stress and anxiety that so many brides speak of on their wedding day. Kevin and I got to fully enjoy our day and trust everything to Sheriah and her team. We were in the best hands! Highly recommend choosing Posh Occasions for your wedding or event.

Sheriah planned my baby shower that I had this past weekend on 5/25 and she did a great job bringing my Baby in Bloom vision to life! We had monthly meetings up until a few days before my event. Sheriah is more than a planner, by end of your event you’ll likely call her a friend. She
is very personable and kind and will go the extra mile to ensure you feel comfortable and confident about your event. There were a few hiccups with my venue, at no fault of Sheriah, but Sheriah was there to smooth it out. She made herself available 24/7 via email and even answered late text messages ( sorry Sheriah lol). On the day of my shower I walked into a beautiful room that guests are still raving about! I live in the Atlanta area and had my shower in Birmingham and even though she is based in the Tuscaloosa area she was willing to travel. I’m grateful I found her and would recommend her services!

Sheriah and her team made my and my husband's entire wedding experience a breeze and total joy. We planned our wedding in 7 months, which I was nervous about, but Sheriah didn't even bat an eye. Sheriah traveled from Alabama to Atlanta to go wedding dress shopping and traveled to the venue in TN several times for run throughs. In our weekly and monthly meetings, she was always a pleasure to talk to and I knew that she genuinely wanted to help me plan my perfect wedding. She is a wealth of knowledge and resources, to which I relied on her expertise and opinion on many things. Closer to wedding day, I could tell that I became one of her priority brides, as her response time was quicker than usual and she was on top of everything. On the weekend of our wedding, Sheriah handled it all. She helped set up the rehearsal dinner which my mother in law loved! On wedding day Sheriah and her team literally did everything so that myself, my husband, and our family and friends didn't have to do anything. And it all ran effortlessly. I could not recommend Posh Occasions by Sheriah more!

We are so happy we hired Sheriah to serve as our wedding coordinator. We were on the fence about whether we wanted a wedding coordinator or not- my husband and I both have jobs that require us to be decisive and work under pressure, so we thought we could handle it on our own. From our first Zoom call with Sheriah, we knew we were in good hands. Sheriah has such a warm and friendly personality, and you can tell just by talking to her that she is not easily rattled and gets stuff done.

Sheriah helped us create and stick to our budget, and saved us hours of time by recommending vendors that we didn't know about. Her team was amazing to work with as well, and everyone I met on my wedding weekend was so friendly and down to earth, we all felt like old friends.

Sheriah took an unbelievable amount of stress off of us during our wedding, so we were truly able to enjoy our engagement and the planning process. When you are getting married, everyone constantly asks how stressful wedding planning is. I was honestly able to say throughout the whole thing that I wasn't stressed at all, because I knew we were in great hands. We knew that whatever was important would get done with Sheriah and her team at the helm. Multiple guests even commented on how wonderful the team was.

If you're considering Posh Occasions for your wedding, I highly recommend it! It made a world of difference and we are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. Beyond that, we were so happy to be able to just bask in the love and good energy of the day without being stressed or overwhelmed.
