Loved this place! The cave tour was so interesting and our guide Ethan was great. The kids loved the train ride and feeding the animals. Would definitely recommend this for a family outing although the cave tour might not be the best for very small children.

We just visited as a party for my nephews birthday the kids and adults had so much FUN! ALL of the employees were extremely kind, patient, and accommodating with everyone including the children. We did the all in one and mining, and I recommend all of the above! Our tour guide was Leif (not sure of the spelling) and he was absolutely fantastic the kids loved chatting with him. We will definitely be visiting again.

Wonder World Cave & Adventure Park is an absolute MUST do activity in San Marcos. It’s super informative and educational and not just about the cave but of the entire area as a whole. They’ve done a wonderful job of also incorporating other family friendly activities like a gravity defying house and petting zoo just to name a few. Don’t skip the ride to the top of Wonder World Tower… it’s a beautiful and wonderfully unique vantage point from which you can observe much of the area. There is absolutely something for everyone here and even adults will leave learning something new! I’ve been MANY times and I have an awesome and memorable experience every time. For those interested, they host tons of events throughout the year that you NEED to add to your calendars, such as: haunted cave tours around Halloween, a flea market every Sunday, a kids summer camp, and SO much more!

I can not express my gratitude for the staff!! They were the absolute best in accommodating everything for my son’s birthday party! Our tour guide was outstanding and very very sweet! The manager was so helpful and insightful on how to help my son with special needs be apart of every activity ❤️
My heart was filled with so much love for the staff that work here! And every activity was so much fun ? all the party goers were so amazed from the youngest 3 to the oldest 15 and of course the adults were like children engaging as well!

We toured the wonder caves, it was very interactive, educational and safe.

Emily was very professional and helpful for our large family. Wonderful recommendations and activities to manage our time. The service was top notch!

Emily and Stephen have great educational facts and history of the caves. So rare that you can actually touch the walls and such a site to take in the fault and changes in earth.

Emily made our family feel very well taken care of, the groups are the perfect size for tour. Our kids had a great time in the cave and the other activities. The staff is great and accommodating, great experience for an educational and historical location.

The cave is super cool! This is really different than the other show caves you'll see in Texas. It's a dry cave created by an earthquake. So it's cool to walk through the fault line.

Javi was a great tour guide! Still laughing about the fossilized potatoes!

It is a lot of steps and not easy ones if you are thinking of bringing grandparents or anyone who has difficulties walking.
We got the all in one ticket and you can probably skip that as the anti gravity house and petting zoo aren't really worth it.

Really fascinating stuff goin on down there! Geology is great…I love rocks!! Super friendly, knowledgeable, laid back, and just all around cool tour guide…he was Super helpful, patient, and ready to answer whatever questions we threw at him. It was a last minute decision to come here, and we made it there about 45 seconds before the last tour of the day was about to start, and I am sooo glad that we did!! 100% would recommend to anyone thinking of coming here, especially if you’re into rocks, like us. Perfect ending to our 9yr olds bday celebration weekend!! Thanks guys…we truly had an awesome time 🙂
