Absolutely wonderful experience. Tom, one of the owners and our guide for a full day tour to Taos and Taos Pueblo, is scientifically trained and was a fountain of knowledge on the geology and area flora especially.

My wife had to drag me away at Taos Pueblo... I could have spent the whole day talking to the amazing Tiwa artists. We also saw the stunning countryside, including the spectacular gorge and Rio Grande River.

A tour like this is a great way to explore the area for the first time. When we come back we have a far better of what's what. Highly recommended

I recently took a tour to Bandelier National Monument with Great Southwestern Adventures, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! LaVonne was a pleasure to work with, keeping me updated on all the details of the trip, which made planning stress-free. Our tour guide, Mark, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He never rushed us, allowing plenty of time to explore and enjoy the site. I also appreciated how he took the time to learn our names and where we were from, making the experience more personal.

The company provided snacks and water, which was a nice touch, and the van was very comfortable for the journey. Bandelier itself was both educational and fun, with plenty to see and do. I highly recommend Great Southwestern Adventures for anyone looking to explore the area—you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Monique of Great Southwest Tours of the Taos, New Mexico area. Our guide Monique pointed out the topography of the region as well as of all the tribal lands and the history of those tribes. Sante Fe has a rich history and Monique’s highlighting of the history was incredibly enriching. Touring with Monique in the Toas area was so wonderful that we felt like we were back in college, we learned so much.
When we plan next trip to the Sante Fe, New Mexico we will schedule a tour of the area with Great Southwest Tours and ask for Monique as our guide. Having a knowledgeable guide like Monique will surely make your visit just as memorable.

I’d highly recommend Great Southwest Adventure Tours. I’ve visited the Santa Fe area many times and haven’t come close to learning what l learned on this trip. Carola shared her knowledge and experience in geoscience, Pueblo Indian culture, and settlement history in an easy to follow and engaging manner. She was also kind enough to share some interesting facts on Georgia O’Keeffe. Look forward to our next adventure!
