This is a publicly accessible dock in the middle of 1 of the most beautiful places in earth. You can build a fire in a fire pit on the beach, Wade into the bay, take a nap, Admire the a scenery, use the public restrooms, take avatar of free parking (not overnight) or walk about a block to the fast ferry to Skagway.

What a beautiful place Haines Alaska is. If you either get here it’s all worth it. At the terminal it’s a great place to see boats & eagles. To view water & scenery. Absolutely stunning.
