I am so grateful that I was advised to use Misty at Blissful Moment Events. I was really overwhelmed with business and my mother being sick and I knew I needed someone to take the reins. I typically enjoy planning and hosting events but when it came to my own wedding, I was so overwhelmed with life that I trusted Misty to pretty much do everything, I mean everything. The best thing about Blissful Moment Events is the fact that they are patient, kind, professionals, knowledgeable and their customer service is phenomenal. I never heard Misty complain or even change her voice with our chaotic changes, she always handled it with grace and assured us everything was going to be okay. I want to use Misty for other events, she is just again amazing, and I was so lucky to have her by my side. Here are some photos of her creating my dream fairytale wedding and rehearsal dinner. IT WAS EXACTLY HOW I VISIONED! Except the sparklers, I had no idea they existed, and I am so glad she suggested them, my favorite photo of the night was with them!!! <3

I cannot say enough great things about Misty and the entire Blissful Moment Events team. From the moment that I started working with Misty (1 year before my wedding), she was great. It’s obvious how much she cares from the moment that you meet her. Before I started with her, I was completely overwhelmed. She took the reins and guided me throughout the entire process. Whenever I couldn’t make a decision, I fully trusted her to make one based on her experience and understanding of my vision for the day. I was doing a destination wedding for both of us - it was in Virginia, so she didn’t know the vendors in the area and I didn’t either. Even though I’m sure this made it a bit harder for her, I could never tell. She was always extremely prepared for meetings, researched all of the vendors thoroughly, and she would work to come up with a plan that was within my budget and my vision. I gained a bit of my life back when I hired her.

On the day of, I didn’t need to think about literally anything. I didn’t even know what time it was for pretty much the entire day. Misty and Olivia worked with all of my vendors to make sure that we were on time and everything was set up how I wanted it to be. The day turned out to be stunning. They also managed to have all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen corralled and under control for getting ready and photos, which was no easy task. By the end of the day, everyone (including the single groomsmen!) who had spoken with Misty and Olivia said that they would be hiring them for their weddings, which is a testament to how enjoyable they were to be around and how well they handled everything that came their way. They managed to handle issues without missing a beat and without me even knowing, including a groomsmen missing their flight & not getting in until an hour before we started, a missing groomsmen shirt, and a bridesmaid who wanted everything to go her way (as well as probably more that I don’t even know about). They went above and beyond by handling an out of line, drunk guest with professionalism and kindness, which was more than I could have asked for. I was so extremely grateful to have them there for me and my now husband on the day. They allowed us to focus on each other and our memories throughout the day, instead of on logistics, planning, and everything else.

I would absolutely recommend Misty, Olivia, and the Blissful Moment Events team to everyone. I was unsure on if I needed a full planning team, but they were by far the best investment that I could have made before the wedding as well as in the day of. If I ever have another large event to plan, I will be reaching out to them to see if they have expanded past weddings!

WOW! What an amazing wedding! Not only was it in beautiful Steamboat Springs, but it couldn't have gone smoother! Having an amazing planner is essential to everything running well, but probably most importantly, everyone feeling calm and knowing there are experts on the job. Misty and her team were a pleasure to work with on a recent microwedding! As a photographer, it is so helpful to have a communicative and kind planner on board. Misty was so helpful from the beginning, and made sure we developed a timeline for the couple that aligned with their wishes and left enough time for all the photo and video we needed to get. Their designs on the day of the wedding were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend her to couples planning a wedding!

My new husband and I cannot say enough positive things about Blissful Moment Events and Misty! We got married at my parent's house and wanted to have a relatively low budget wedding while still putting our guests first. Misty and her team went above and beyond the call of duty to pull off a truly beautiful day. The weather swung wildly between torrential rain and bright sunny skies; with each change, Misty's team happily pivoted and moved furniture, flowers, and staged tables in the garage just in case. By the wedding itself the skies cleared, and they were able to set up a truly beautiful reception in what had to be minutes. We did not want to spend a lot of money on flowers, so Misty recommended that we get our bouquets and one large arrangement from a florist and then purchase flowers from Costco and use whatever vases we had at the house. I was totally floored at the arrangements her team made! They looked as good as the (very expensive) arrangement from the florist we ordered.
During the reception, Misty made sure that everything went off without a hitch. She designed a thorough timeline and shared it with all of the vendors. The timing between each part of the evening was perfect--no excessive waiting and also we never felt rushed. Our comfort was thought of continually; for example, during cocktail hour Misty made sure that one of her team members followed us around with a plate of the appetizers so we could actually eat the food we bought! At the end of the evening after we left, Misty made sure that my parents were not stuck cleaning up in the early hours of the morning. When we came back to the house the next morning, you would never know that there had been a massive party for 35 people there the night before.

All in all, Misty runs a professional, upbeat, kind, and creative company. I would recommend her 110%, and if I had to pinpoint any one vendor who made our wedding spectacular, it would be her. Thank you for all of your help and for making our day truly magical!

From start to finish, Misty's expertise and positivity made the entire wedding planning process an absolute joy! It was evident from the jump that Misty has a genuine passion for her work, as she consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, and since we live out of town I was worried that it would be challenging to pull this off without meeting many of the vendors personally. 5 stars doesn't do Blissful Moments Events justice because they are simply incredible! As a wedding photographer, I work with all kinds of wedding planners, and Misty is truly one of the best!
