The Welder's are great people with a great team of guides, ranch hands, cook. I had a great time there making memories and enjoying some amazing views! We were unsuccessful in getting an Elk but it was not due to lack of effort. Ethan our guide did everything in his power to get us opportunity, including recruiting guide JR and owner Shawn to help expand our coverage area! We did see a lot of mule deer, plenty of Elk sign and even a few cows. This was a hard hunt but a great experience, from the people to the well trained horses I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Welder ranch and outfitters!

Top-notch professionals! We had a two-hour ride with two guides and saw the most stunning views of the flats. The horse are well trained and well groomed. Check them out if you’re in the Meeker/Buford area. Thank you to Shawn and his whole team. We will be back for sure.

A five star ride in uncrowded, wild national forest land with a great guide. Shawn knew the best routes and my two girlfriends and I were treated to a fun afternoon. If you are looking for a remote, special snowmobiling experience, we highly recommend Welder Ranch and Outfitters!

Awesome outfitters and beautiful country..My family came out to hunt elk and we saw elk every day we went out with guides even days we were just horse back riding,. Great guides, thank you for giving us a safe trip , one to remember!

We took the 2 hour family ride and had a blast. Two of us had never even sat on a horse, but the horses were tame, gentle, and experienced. Our guide, Deanna, was spectacular and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed talking to her and she was very knowledgeable. Her “assistant” Texas was also a very entertaining addition to our trip. Deanna even took some amazing photos of our family at a gorgeous overlook. We would definitely recommend Welder’s and Deanna to anyone looking for a mountain ride that is still suitable for a beginner on the more adventurous side. Thank you Deanna and our rides Cocece, Willow, Spot, and Tornado for this unforgettable experience!

Made a reservation with Shawn for a snowmobile tour for myself and 2 friends. He was extremely accommodating and had the additional equipment needed to make the ride enjoyable. He took us on a great ride and showed us many sites of the White River area. Took us to several areas with great fresh powder and let us have a blast. His sleds were in great condition and I can’t wait to do it again when I am near Meeker.

He and his team were professional-from putting safety and comfortability first to their extensive historical knowledge of Meeker and the Upper White River Country, you’re sure to have an incredible experience with his snowmobile tours!! Great group of people. Spent 5 days on a 1st rifle hunt with Welder and they really worked their tails off. Knowledgeable guides, great horses, great wranglers and chef. They really get you back in the woods where most hunters can't get by foot. Had a great time and would book again.
