This was one of the best guided trips we have ever taken. We booked a private 10:45-sundown tour of the Grand Canyon and we were promised a tailored, luxury experience and the tour lived up to the promise and then some. Our guide David met us early at Under Canvas in a comfortable van that was stocked with a fantastic variety of cold drinks, fresh fruit, and snacks that started the trip off right.

It was exceptionally hot the day we scheduled our tour and we were concerned that we would have a difficult time with the heat. Our tour included our nine year old son and we were also worried he would be bored. David really made the trip enjoyable despite the heat. We were able to really get a sense of the majesty of the Grand Canyon through its wondrous beauty, its history, the danger it can present to the unprepared, as well as his relationship to the park.

Highlights are many but included:
* David made sure our first view of the park was breathtaking
* We avoided the crowds (big win!)
* Lunch was on a tablecloth, was delicious and included all the accoutrement
* Sunset wine toast with charcuterie and cheese
* Mindfulness moment to pause and reflect on the grandeur of the Grand Canyon

The biggest highlight though was that our nine year thought David was the coolest guy which meant he was totally into the experience.

We are looking forward to having All Star handle our next tour.

Our family had a great time exploring the Grand Canyon with our guide Ben. The guide company emailed us a few days in advance to let us know that the weather forecast for our trip looked questionable but we still wanted to go. On the day of the trip, the weather was indeed a bit snowy. Ben told us we would just have to be patient with the weather and turns out he was right. We hiked down the trail into the canyon while it was snowing but by the time we reached our lunch time spot, it had cleared up and was a picture perfect setting. The lunch was amazing and the setting was beautiful. The sky cleared up and the sun came out. We had the perfect view of the canyon while we ate our delicious sandwiches. The hike back out was nice and relaxed. Ben has such a wealth of knowledge about the canyon and the surrounding area and we had great conversation while we hiked. Could not have asked for a better guide and tour! We will certainly use this guide service again if we come back in the future. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone! Hands down the best!

Our trip with All-Star Grand Canyon Tours was amazing! Our tour guid (Johnathan) was great. He has a lot of knowledge about the Canyon, plants, animals and the area overall. You can tell he is very passionate and loves his job. He made our experience wonderful. The picnic lunch was delicious, and the company even went out of their way to get Fluff for our daughter to have with her peanutbutter sandwich. If you plan on touring the Grand Canyon I highly recommend choosing All-Star Grand Canyon Tours. Book directly through their site (do not recommend using Viator/Trip Advisor). If you book directly through them you will get a much better deal ?

Rachel is the best guide!! Love her and this guide company. Rachel was sweet, knowledgeable, experienced, thoughtful and helpful. She truly loves her job and the Grand Canyon. We only had 2 days in Grand Canyon and she helped us make the most of it. She took us on a short hike and showed us all the highlights of the south rim Grand Canyon. You won’t be disappointed.

It was an amazing tour. We decided to go with the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour because we wanted to see the best views and didn't have much knowledge of where to go. I also didn't want to waste time figuring it out. This tour was worth the money and because there was enough of us we were able to do a private tour. Best decision ever. This company was awesome! Patrick, our guide, was very knowledgeable and personalized our tour to us, taking into consideration my 6 year old who was not a big hiker. The views were amazing , lunch was delicious, and Patrick even carried our stuff for us. I definitely would recommend them. It is also an all day affair which I loved instead of the couple of hours other tour places offered.

First off let me start with telling you that I have never had a better experience with any guided tour than I had with this one. Ben brings 25 years of experience with the Grand Canyon and hospitality and merges them together for an experience that is worth every penny you’ll spend.

He personalized our trip down to the smallest details. From the types of drinks we like, to the snacks we wanted to what kind of beer I like. Our lunch was amazing and Ben made sure we had an amazing view with a wonderful meal. He took us to the spots on the south rim of the Grand Canyon that few know about. It was clear when my wife and I got to have a wonderful moment with an amazing view and there were zero other people around. We beat the crowds and never had to go more than just a few minutes on any trail to get to the secluded spots.

As someone who loves facts and useless knowledge Ben was never at a loss. He knew the answers to all the questions we asked and was just genuinely a really great guy. He runs a business that he clearly loves and it shows in the attention and care he puts into it. If you’re planning a visit you cannot go wrong with All Star Grand Canyon Tours. Spend the money and have an experience that you’ll never forget. The service of this tour company is the equivalent of the view you’ll have…. Unbelievable.
