Carmela Marie catered my wedding and the food is to this day one of the most talked about items. They are incredibly open to customizations and very easy to work with, at a wonderful price point! My husband has a lot of allergies, some very complex (onions and garlic) and Carmela Marie worked with us to remove allergens from dishes and still create a wonderful taste. They even created little tags for allergens in the food so everyone knew exactly what they could eat. I would advise every bride to have a point person for vendors to ask questions to. A couple of times during setup the Carmela Marie team asked me questions (which I would always prefer versus making decisions for me!) and I only had to direct them to my planner once and then they communicated with her for the rest of the time.

We hired Carmela Marie Catering for our wedding day. We went with their buffet option. When I tell you to hire them for your next event, I mean absolutely hire them for your next event!! The food was out of this world amazing, we had guests coming up to us all night raving about how good the food was! You hear of catering companies sometimes “showing” off their food for your tasting and then the event comes and the food isn’t nearly as good as your tasting was…well this catering company that’s not the case you get what you tasted at your tasting. When we went for our tasting they were so sweet and work with you and making changes if needed. Their staff was amazing and friendly as well! They are a little hard to get ahold of at times, but don’t let that stress you out they will get back to you! My only thing I was slightly upset about was my cake was not exactly the design I had asked for, but it was a minor detail and their food made up for it, just wish I would have been told about the change in design ahead of time before seeing it on the day. We still highly recommend them for your catering needs and will most certainly be using them again if needed in another event!

Additionally, they went above and beyond in setting up the chairs and tables, ensuring that our vision for the day became a reality. If you're looking for a catering company that's easy to work with, serves great food, and creates amazing dessert displays at a reasonable price, I recommend giving them a try. They definitely added to making our wedding a memorable event!

We had Carmela Marie cater our wedding and we could not be more impressed! They are affordable, flexible and an awesome company. The food was delicious! All of our guests have raved to us about how amazing the dinner and desserts were. Betsy was wonderful to coordinate with and they accommodated our every request to make sure all dietary restrictions and food choices were met. 11/10 caterer - if you are looking for someone in CT to cater your event choose Camela Marie!!
