So glad we chose Jimmy Dee Entertainment as our DJ/MC. I truly couldn’t have asked for better. From the first initial meeting with them, they were kind and listened to our vision intently, explained everything very clearly and we were feeling very confident in our choice. A couple months before the wedding, they sent an email with a website/app to input all our songs into and you were able to personalize everything. You tell them what you want/don’t want and the whole thing was actually super fun to do with my then fiancé. A week before we had our final meeting to go over everything we had put on the app and that’s when you can go a little more into detail and explain your answers to their questions. Our MC, who we personally chose based on their introduction video, called us the week of the wedding to also finalize everything and clarify any questions he had. He was so funny even on that phone call and was so excited and we knew he would make it a party the day of. His energy was on point. The whole process was very easy and we just knew we were in great hands. Ok so now the really good stuff. The day of the wedding, they were incredible. I don’t think there’s a better word to even describe them. Before the ceremony they came to find my husband and I to make sure the songs were still what we wanted and said they would change anything if needed. Once they got the ok, they made sure everything ran so incredibly smoothly. We hired them for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They played great mix of songs for cocktail hour. Before our grand entrance they again came to us to make sure all the songs were correct for each entrance. We asked them to do something funny for husbands parent entrance (we asked if they could start playing a joke song and play it off like they played the wrong song and then go into the song they chose to come into) they KILLED IT. it was the funniest thing and everyone loved it. Every song i requested , they made it happen. The reception was incredible and the best night of my life and they’re probably the biggest reason why. Eugene (our MC) was the life of the party. He was so funny and personable, he had the dance floor PACKED all night long while making my husband and I feel like absolute royalty. He made it so special and a night to remember and i truly couldn’t have asked for better. I HIGHLY recommend them. We have gotten compliments that our wedding was the best wedding our guests have been to, that our music was on point, the DJ/MC was the best they’ve seen and they had the best time ever. Would recommend Jimmy Dee Entertainment to anyone and everyone and know wholeheartedly they’ll have the best wedding and know they’ll also be in GREAT hands.

Jimmy Dee absolutely knocked our wedding sound out of the park!!! Josh was extremely attentive and communicative throughout the entire process. We had them do our ceremony cocktail hour, reception & after-party sound with a live sax player add on and intelligent lighting. The whole experience was nothing short of amazing. Josh did a fabulous job with the song list, John (our MC was SO GOOD.) and Anra (our live sax player) was unreal!! Everyone is still talking about how amazing the music was and how unbelievable it was to have a live sax player 🙂 Only thing we didn't know before the big day was that the sax player wouldn't play until the "official" dance set happened (after all the dances and dinner). Our private coordinator seriously dropped the ball on many things including the timeline so the sax player ended up playing a lot later than we expected, but that wasn't a Jimmy Dee issue. It was still the most amazing day and I'll sing Jimmy Dee's praises wherever and whenever I can! Thank you Josh, John & Anra for making our day so incredibly special 🙂

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of using Jimmy Dee Entertainment for our wedding day! From start to finish, Richie kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. He worked closely with us before the event to understand our music preferences and tailored the playlist perfectly, playing all of our must-haves and mixing in great tunes that fit the mood. He even went above and beyond to execute the vision we had for our grand entrance ensuring our day was everything we wanted. The transitions between songs were smooth, and they really knew how to read the crowd, adjusting the vibe at just the right moments.

They also did an excellent job with announcements, keeping everything on track without being overbearing. I would 100% recommend them for your special day. Truly professional and talented!

Entertainment Experience: One of the standout aspects of Jimmy Dee Entertainment was their unique approach to keeping the party alive. Unlike many weddings where dancing only happens towards the end of the meal, Bill and Ryan introduced dance sets throughout the evening. Whenever there was a stretch of 10 minutes or longer, they got our guests up and dancing. This innovative approach ensured our guests were constantly engaged, burning off all the delicious food and drinks, and maximizing their time on the dance floor. Our guests absolutely loved this and couldn't stop raving about the fun they had.

Planning and Coordination: The planning process with Jimmy Dee Entertainment was incredibly smooth and efficient. From our initial inquiry to the final meeting, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. They offer a fantastic app that allows you to select your 'must play' and 'do not play' songs, making the song selection process both easy and enjoyable.
