SO many amazing things to say about Shelby! I hired her as my day of planner and even in the year leading up to the big day, she always answered any questions I had about vendor recs, details for the day, and overall eased some of my pre wedding anxiety! I was nervous because my venue was pretty disorganized and didn't seem to keep track of my planning so I really leaned on Shelby to make sure the day was what I planned. And boy did she deliver! Everything on the day was EXACTLY how I imagined it. Even to the smallest details like placement of flowers and chairs. During our reception, I had people coming up to me saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to!!! They said the timing of each event, the flow of the day, everything was incredible. When I was originally interviewing wedding planners, I clicked with Kourtney but ended up going with the planning package through the venue. Long story short, we made a mistake. We needed to hire a new planner THREE months before the wedding. So I called Kourtney back. And the rest is history.

She pieced all my plans together and was a calming presence through the last few months of planning. We were planning from across the country and Kourtney helped us make important decisions from a distance. When I was able to take a trip out to meet vendors, Kourtney was with me every step of the way.

I am an event planner by trade and very type-A personality. I knew going into this process that I would need to fully trust someone to execute our vision in order to truly step back and enjoy our big day. Kourtney made that possible. We were originally nervous that we would never find someone who could execute our vision for a bohemian black tie desert wedding… as many of the AZ what wedding planners who we spoke with had “out of the box solutions” that did not mesh well with our vision, but Kourtney was up for the challenge.

Coordinating from LA for a wedding in Tucson was no easy feat, and Kourtney made us feel not only taken care of but excited for each step of the process. Her optimism matched her execution, and she pulled off our dream ❤️. Friends from LA, NYC, London and Israel were blown away- and we know that this would have never been possible without Kourtney. We will dearly miss our 1-1 calls with Kourtney and now consider her a good friend.

Where to even begin!? To say Kourtney and her team went "above and beyond" is an understatement. They worked so hard to make our vision come to life for our wedding! And it could not have been easy! She managed to incorporate every color we were wanting and even managed to hang multiple disco balls above the dance floor for us! No task was to big for her, she was so responsive during the entirety of the process leading up to the wedding and during it. They were so flexible and really made the most of what we had to work with. Kourtney and her team are incredibly humble and diligent. She is truly capable of making any vision a reality! It was an honor to have someone with that much talent be a part of our special day. Can't wait to have another reason to work with her! Thank you so much!!!

I initially started to plan key components of my wedding but came to a point where I needed help with details, staying organized, and pulling my vision together. I was very fortunate to have found Kourtney in my search and was beyond pleased and excited. She was exactly what I needed to pull off my dream wedding; I didn’t think twice after our initial call.

She was attentive, highly organized and just such a sweet soul to work with. Oh my goodness!! Cannot rave enough about Monarch Events!! From the minute we met Kourtney, I knew it was a perfect match! She has such a presence and an energy to her; it is easy to love her right off the bat! I informed her that I wanted something unique and different, and she worked tirelessly with me to make sure the vision for our wedding was exactly what we wanted!! She was so professional in helping my ideas form into something so elegant and special! We met several times over the course of the wedding planning to talk about ideas in person and come up with ways everything would logistically work! On the day of, I knew everything was going to be beautiful, but when Kourtney walked into the room to hand deliver the bouquets to me and my bridesmaids, my jaw hit the floor! I had never seen a more breathtaking arrangement!! Also, she helped tie (literally) all of my "somethings" into the bouquet, so everything would hold close to my heart! As I walked out and saw the ceremony set up, I could not help buy cry! Everything was beyond perfect, and all thanks to Kourtney! Our wedding was perfect because of her! The time and effort she puts in is unbelievable, and she is a true artist. I cannot wait until the rest of my friends and family get married, so we can work with her again! She is the easiest person to work with and is so responsive and respectful in catering to all needs! I must say, not only did I get the most beautiful wedding flowers of all time, I also got an amazing friend in the process! I'd hire her any day of the week!
