We had initially booked another hotel in town, but they had a maintenance issue and canceled our reservation.
This property is labeled a two-star hotel, and so I was expecting that experience. We needed a clean and safe place to get ready for- and retire for the night after an event for which we came in from out of town.
I would have said this property was as advertised for the most part; however, upon entering our room to get ready, there was absolutely no hot water.
When I walked down to the desk, I was told it would be investigated, but that no time frame was guaranteed. Fair enough. Things happen. We skipped showers and just got ready the best we could, and upon our return after midnight, there was hot water.
My issue is this: at no time was there any offer of adjusting the amount we had paid upon checking in. I sincerely believe that hot water is part of what one anticipates receiving when paying for a hotel room. I understand it was likely an unavoidable situation, and no one’s fault, but I do not feel that we received what we reasonably expected when we paid for it.

After leaving maine with a lot of traffic, I started to look for possible hotels. Everything in hartford and danbury showed full. Tired and frustrated saw maron hotel danbury. Stephanie at front desk was so friendly. It showed full but found us a room. It was right off 84. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful. Price good, compared to other in area that do not havw restaurants close. Loved the lobby and room hotel clean. I Do not know about others, but we love restaurants within walking distance after being in the car so long. Right across the street, great itailan and Japanese restaurants. We be back. Again much thanks to staff

Accidentally left a wallet there that had cash in it. They were quick responding and shipping the wallet back to us, only to find housekeeping, or another employee, decided to take $300 out of it. When contacted again, the front desk lady said she trust her employees 100 percent. Usually wouldn’t write reviews, but $300 to some is enough to show a little disappointment, and inform others to be careful their next trip to this hotel.

This is an older hotel, a little worn, but very clean and a good value. Would stay there again. Advertising says "breakfast included." Don't really offer breakfast. It's just a bagel and coffee. Not many hotels between Danbury and Brewster.

Stayed there for a sales meeting for 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised. The business suite was spacious and clean. I would stay there again.

Hotel was clearly being renovated. Elevator did not work. The TV in my room did not work. Vending machine took my money but did not dispense a beverage. The free breakfast was a joke. Bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. The room was kept very clean, room service daily, and had a kitchen. Unfortunately for the price, I would recommend a different hotel in the area if possible.

Upon arrival everything went smoothly until I got to my room. Older and a bit dingy. Was there for 6 nights and no hot water in the shower. Complained three times and got the run around. One of the front desk people was in the hallway being very loud at 2am laughing and chatting with someone right outside the door.The elevator had a weird smell all week. The bed was so uncomfortable and the heat/air didn’t change no matter what temperature you set it on. It’s on a major road and noisy so you know the windows are old. The building and parking is sketchy at best. I requested a receipt at the end of my stay and was told because I didn’t book with them directly they couldn’t give me a receipt for what they charged me because the system wasn’t set up to do it! So you charge me over $700 and can’t provide a receipt!!!!?!!!! I will not be staying there again.

One can feel the vibrations from the air conditioning and heating in every part of the building and in all the rooms.
