My 50th birthday party at The Amber Room was even better than we could have imagined. From our first meeting with Douglas to the months leading up with Katie, and everyone on the day of truly made you feel how special this day was. The food was unbelievable, guests still talk about it. The venue is absolutely beautiful- inside and out. Highly recommend any events on site. I really can go on and on about all the good things The Amber Room has to offer but you will see for yourself the second you walk in. It will be a immediate, guarantee yes for you as it was for us 🙂

My now wife and I celebrated our wedding here in 2024. It was a spectacular event! We adored everything The Amber Room had to offer, from the food and service to the decor. The exceptional hospitality we received made our day flawless, and I highly recommend it.

The Food: The portions were generous and scrumptious. Our guests were delighted with the variety and abundance of dishes available during the cocktail hour.

The Staff: The staff accommodated every request from us and our guests with great care. Everyone felt well-attended to, and I frequently observed the staff's attentive service, especially from Melissa and Gina, who ensured our special day was joyful and all our needs were met.

Appearance: The Amber Room's decor is both elegant and sophisticated. We were impressed with the value we received for the package we chose, which was perfect for our budget.

INCREDIBLE! We could not have imagined a better wedding ceremony, reception and venue, it all was perfection! From the food and drinks, to the space and views, to the management and staff, all was amazing. Just wanted to give a few special shout outs... Doug the owner was super nice and welcoming from the day that we met. Katie our manager who worked with us from day one that was unbelievably helpful with each and every step, leading us to the correct decisions and guiding us to an unforgettable day. Gina, Patty and their team who coordinated our wedding the day of were so sweet and willing to help take care of anything and everything, making our special day so easy to enjoy. The chef, baker and bartenders who created our cocktail hour food and drink as well as our entrees and wedding cake, they all were spectacular. Words can't express how much we love the entire Amber Room staff. The venue is gorgeous inside and out so you will get wonderful photos/videos to capture every awesome moment so that you can savor your memories. In love with this place and highly recommend so book for yourselves now!

Our experience hosting our daughter's baptism celebration at The Amber Room was absolutely extraordinary in every way possible. From the moment we began communicating with Katie, the Catering Sales Manager, we knew we were in capable hands. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail were truly exceptional.

Despite initially considering another venue due to a slight cost difference, Katie's outstanding service and dedication convinced us to book with The Amber Room, and it was undeniably the best decision we could have made. Throughout the entire planning process, Katie went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our event was perfect.

On the day of the celebration, the amazing staff, including Ashley and Gina, were simply phenomenal. Their attentiveness, efficiency, and warm hospitality made our event run smoothly and flawlessly. My husband and I had our wedding at The Amber Room Colonnade on September 21st and boy was it a night to remember!! Even from the very beginning stages of wedding planning, Katie, Doug, Gina, Patty and the rest of the team made this process so easy and thoughtfully planned. It was easy to pick The Amber Room as the ideal place to host our wedding. The first thing you'll notice upon driving in is a beautiful pergola wrapped in the most beautiful of vines. Inside the venue is just as gorgeous! I am so elated to have had our wedding there, it was the most magical night and we are still on cloud 9. From the planning to the food, to the drinks and even the cake was magnificent. Thank you to Katie and her team for helping us create a celebration of both of our cultures while highlighting the love we share for one another.
Brides, you can't go wrong...seriously so many different areas for photos!!! The packages are priced for different budgets, but literally each package is amazing and offers a wide variety of options so none of your guests will be leaving unhappy!

This past weekend we had our daughter's sweet sixteen party at the Amber Room. We worked with Melissa for all the planning & she was amazing...very responsive & willing to work with us on whatever we asked. Our banquet manager was Ashley. She was fantastic! She was SO attentive & helped tremendously the night of the party. We had an absolute BLAST! Food was great! Everything was amazing & went off without a hitch!

We booked the Amber Room in December 2022 and were married there on 10.13.23 and it was a literal a dream come true.

Doug (the GM) and Gina (our Banquet Manager) were tremendously professional, accommodating, thoughtful, responsive, and understanding throughout the whole planning process. They gave us their suggestions and experiences to draw from while planning and just about everything day-of was on time and went off without a hitch.

They had just finished redoing the ceremony site and it was absolutely gorgeous for our outdoor ceremony. The property lended itself beautifully for our first-look and bridal party photos.

Many guests raved about the delicious food, especially the butternut squash and the mini risotto balls.

My husband and I had a designated staff member bringing us anything we needed, and she even assisted with bustling my skirt.

The cell phone service is terrible, but they do have WiFi and that was a complete non -issue for us since it meant no one's phones went off during the ceremony.

Between the care, attention, and quality of service we received, we definitely got more than our money's worth and we are so glad we went with them for our big day.

We had our wedding at The Amber Room Colonnade over Labor Day weekend and it truly was a dream come true.

We booked The Amber Room in the Summer of 2021 and from the moment we inquired we had a wonderful experience. We met with Doug P who gave us a tour of the entire facility, discussed all of the different packages. He provided us with a booklet which was super informative and even allowed us to place a soft hold on a date while we finished our venue tours. Doug made the entire process (from initial tour to wedding night) absolutely seamless. His response time is unmatched! Doug allowed us to chose a package while also customizing exactly what we wanted for our wedding night. Anything we asked for he was able to provide. Doug even recommended a cigar rolling company and was willing to make arrangements with that so that we did not have to worry about contact another company. Doug also helped us finalize our timeline for the night and gave us insight that helped us choose what/when to do certain parts of our night.

Fast forward to our wedding which was perfect. The day of we worked with Ashley who was very kind, accommodating and helpful. Any little thing we asked for she was able to make happen. Even made sure I did not spill any cocktail hour food on my wedding dress!! Doug was able to pop in and congratulate us as well! The entire staff from bridal attendant, to wait staff and bartender were all incredible.

Our guests raved about all of the food, from cocktail hour to the late night snacks. ALL of the food was delicious and there was so much of it! We really enjoyed having cocktail hour food in the bridal suite as well so that we could have a few private moments right after the ceremony.

The set up (indoor and outdoor) was wonderful as well, every detail was exactly how we asked. And all of the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds for the ceremony and photos are absolutely beautiful as well. While the venue is located near a main road, you would never know that when you are in the grounds. The Amber Room grounds feel quiet and private which is perfect for a wedding ceremony.

From the moment we came for our initial tour through the wedding night, we were absolutely blown away by how amazing The Amber Room is. We were so happy to make the drive from the Hartford area because of how wonderful this venue is. The Amber Room is the best wedding venue in CT!!
