Great place for easy and moderate hikes. Trails are very well marked, it is spacious, beautiful and free! Even when it's 85+ degrees it's still great since most of the trails have a gazillion trees.

Tarrywile is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue! We fell in love with the grounds before touring the mansion, but once we went inside, we knew this was the place for us. Loraine was so easy to work with and her enthusiasm about Tarrywile is contagious. The mansion is gorgeous and being able to have indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony and reception was ideal. Though we had hoped for an outdoor wedding, cold and rain forced our late April wedding indoors, where we were able to have an amazing ceremony inside the conservatory. Our guests loved how cozy the rooms felt and we had a wonderful experience there. Highly recommend!
(We also love the park and trails if you are looking for a place to hike!)

There are multiple expansive hiking trails throughout the whole park with beautiful landscapes. The mansion is available for events and is host to many weddings and other events during the spring and summer months so the upper parking lot may be closed during those times.

One of the best places in Danbury for family gatherings and small size parties.

The white trail is good for evening jog/hike. Usually a little crowded in summer times.
