We hosted our wedding at Willow Hill in September and it was simply the perfect setting for the intimate, family-centric weekend that we envisioned. The property’s rolling hills and lush foliage coupled with quintessential New England stone walls, split rail fences and other charming details provided a stunning backdrop to our events. Greg & Nicole have poured themselves into this property, taking an already beautiful space and creating something that is truly magical. From our rehearsal dinner in the barn, to our ceremony on the newly built deck overlooking the property, the cocktail hour in the grassy expanse just down the driveway, and the tented reception in the meadow, we were thrilled with how we could customize each space to fit our needs & design goals, and create a memorable experience for our friends & family. Our guests loved the venue and have shared so many positive sentiments with us about the whole experience in the weeks since our wedding.

Being able to stay in the historic home on the property with our family was a highlight of Willow Hill. Nicole’s design of each room is warm and inviting, and effortlessly blends traditional elements that are authentic to the home’s history with touches of modern convenience. The house comfortably slept our immediate family of 11 with room to spare, and was an enjoyable and relaxing space for my bridal party and I to get ready the morning of the wedding. Greg & Nicole have thought of every detail to make the house a fantastic wedding prep space, including a dressing suite that perfectly suited the hair & makeup team’s needs and bright and natural-light filled rooms for getting ready photos. And while the house provides an excellent bridal prep experience, the upstairs floor of the barn was fantastic for the groomsmen to hang out & get ready - well designed, comfortable and with all the amenities they’d need throughout the day.

From a planning standpoint, Greg & Nicole helped make the process seamless. Communication with them leading up to, during and after the wedding was excellent - they’re quick to respond, incredibly thoughtful, and clearly passionate about the property & ensuring their guests have a fantastic experience. This was undoubtedly the best weekend of our lives and we are so grateful we were able to host this memorable weekend at Willow Hill!

As a vendor and wedding planner, Willow Hill is a dream! Nicole and Greg have gone above and beyond to create a stunning venue, that allows couples to truly dream and create whatever kind of wedding they want! I love that they allow you to bring in any caterer to work with so you can customize that to your clients needs. I had the privilege to plan an event there this past July and I can’t tell you how helpful Nicole and Greg were. They really went out of their way to ensure that we had the support we needed from the venue. Absolutely amazing venue for my son’s rehearsal dinner! Willow Hill was an awesome find and a perfect gem to add to the wedding festivities!! I have to share that Willow Hill is the perfect setting for all wedding needs and festivities! I learned of all Willow Hill had to offer when i met with Nicole the owner and awesome event planner through Chef Brian Paszko ( another gem!) From the deck overlooking the amazing property and fountain to the rustic barn hosting the charming tabletop setting and elegant lighting , made the entire night perfect!! Oh my heart! It was perfect !!

On the weekend of 9.6-9.8, we held our daughter's wedding at Willow Hill in Brooklyn, CT, featuring 142 acres of sheer beauty and two magnificent properties on the site. More than that, the Owners (Greg & Nicole), through creativity, strategic capital investment and hard work, they have curated an incredible wedding and event venue.

The compliments and rave reviews I have received from family members, friends and guests since the wedding weekend were very, very gratifying. Simply put, it was one of the best weekends of my life.

I would like to thank Greg and Nicole at Willow Hill, along with our Wedding Planner, Stephanie King Events, for creating a beautiful wedding weekend for our 160 guests. We will treasure these memories forever.
