There were a lot of wonderful memories from our time in Newport, RI. Right up there at the top is the cruise aboard Heritage, a 1980 12 meter America’s Cup contender.
The ride was brisk and racy at times, then easy and calm at others.
The crew of 3 were all very knowledgeable and competent with lots of stories and interesting landmarks to point out and share.
If I’m lucky enough to find my way back here again one day this will be on my “Do It Again” list.

Absolutely everything was perfect. The captain and crew are so professional and knowledgeable about sailing and Newport. I chartered Heritage for a private family event and could not have hoped for anything better. I was so excited to board Heritage that I bought tickets a few weeks before and had the most amazing sail. I'm hooked! This is a 'must do' when in Newport.

What an amazing night we had with Shivani as our captain! Our 12 meter America’s Cup boat sailed into the night with Kevin and Emma assisting. The communication and camaraderie was intriguing to watch how well they worked together. We will definitely be doing this again when we get another evening in Newport

What a great experience! Captain Mike is a total pro and literally runs a tight ship. Sailing on a historic boat was a real treat. He schooled us on racing, sailing techniques and the America's Cup. I'd love to go back for another sail.

The whole thing was well run from reservations, check-in, boading, sailing and disembarkation. I highly recommend this if you can get a spot on a sailing.

Recently booked a ticketed excursion with America Cup Charters and whole-heartedly endorse this group. The craft are beautifully maintained and well provisioned for an enjoyable 2 hr excursion.
Whether you are a novice or expert sailor, the captain and crew of knowledgeable sailors are eager to both demonstrate and share their sailing experience. In addition to their sailing prowess, the staff shared generously their knowledge of the local nautical history. A truly enjoyable experience.

Our charter on Heritage was outstanding! Captain and crew were great at their jobs and shared their sailing knowledge. They answered all our questions and offered suggestions on local food and events. The sailing was incredible. My husband was able to assist with hoisting sails, and even took the helm. The sights were great and the crew offered historical information. This was by far the best experience our trip.

We had a great time on our evening sail. The crew was friendly and informative. A couple of our family members got to help raise the sails or come about, the view was great and we even got to enjoy part of a set during the Folk Fest while cruising by.
