If they call you for a contract to hire position, hang up the phone for the following reasons:

1. Terribly misleading - told me that when I went from contract to full-time hire, I could expect to make the same amount if not more. The full-time offer was 20k LESS.
2. They disappeared after they placed me. Any time I had a question about insurance or something else, I had to email them 12 times until I heard anything back.
3. Told me that their insurance starts 60 days after hire. FALSE. If you’re hired on the 4th of June, you should get benefits starting August 4th - but it doesn’t work that way. It only takes effect on the 1st of the month. So you’d have to wait until Sept 1st (almost 90 days) for their insurance to kick in.
4. My recruiters out of Stamford (Emily and Jean Marie) told me they would help me get placed somewhere else after my full-time offer was so low. I emailed them my resume, and have followed up 8 times...no response. It’s VERY clear they were quickly filling a role to meet their goals. They obviously do not care about the people they’re working with.
