I was lucky enough to have my wedding at the lace factory and coming home from our honeymoon I couldn’t want to rave all about this place. Every moment of our wedding was absolutely amazing. Andrea and her team are truly incredible. People are still talking about the food and the venue and how unique and special it all was. We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and it was all thanks to the Lace Factory. I am so lucky our wedding day will be forever cherished because of the Lace Factory and the people behind it all. We love you all!

As a wedding photographer the Lace Factory is fantastic. I love a venue with some cool history and character. The room is such an intimate spot for a reception. The courtyard is perfect for a ceremony and/or cocktail hour. Love everything about this place. Can't wait to get back.

Our wedding over Memorial Day Weekend at The Lace Factory was all we ever dreamed (and more)!

Venue: The actual venue is STUNNING and SO UNIQUE, especially for the New England area! We toured almost a dozen venues and did not find one that had the vintage & ornate touches that The Lace Factory did. Furthermore, they have 2 great outdoor areas: one which has a beautiful garden and is used for ceremonies and cocktail hours, and a second in the front which has views of the Connecticut River. The inside is so charming, and they have beautiful decorations in their Decor Book to choose from. But they also allow & encourage each couple to make the space personal by using the shelves and tables they provide for frames, guest books, memorial tables, etc. Since the space is so large and flexible, we were able to have a Photo Booth, couch seating area, kids play area, AND a large Dance Floor. And to top it all off, The Lace Factory is one of the few we found that allows for "sparkler send-offs" which was a blast for everyone.

Planning: We did a 1 year engagement and from the start it was a very easy process working with the staff. 11 months prior, we were given a very detailed tour and all of our questions were answered, so we secured our date over email with ease. Although we were planning from out of state, they were in constant communication with us, ensuring we completed all steps within our timeline. Anytime we had a question, they responded to an email within 24 hours or a phone call immediately. Additionally, they have a great reputation with various vendors and took care of contacting the vendors to provide them logistics for the big day (which was a huge weight off our shoulders)!

Food/Drink: All of the food is fantastic! They have an extensive menu that can be served plated or buffet. We chose plated (and highly recommend the roasted statler chicken)! We were also in awe at the cake they designed for us that perfectly matched the example photo we provided (and tasted great)! They have many fun add-on options, such as a Donut Bar which was a huge hit with our guests. The drinks were great and the package included a Signature Cocktail which was fun to create with them.

The Lace Factory truly created the BEST day of our lives and we are forever grateful!

The Lace Factory truly brings all of your dreams and expectations to life and somehow manages to make them even better. The entire team made my wedding day flawless. They think of every possible detail and are prepared for absolutely any situation that may arise. The forecast for my wedding day changed VERY last minute and the ceremony was already set up in the courtyard. With only 30 minutes before guests started showing up, they managed to relocate it indoors.

They make the entire wedding planning process effortless and hassle free. I actually enjoyed the whole process and never felt like a stressed out bride. They know how to make you and your significant other important and as if you are their only couple they're putting together a wedding for, when in reality they're in the midst of the hectic wedding season.

The venue itself if gorgeous and I hardly had to go above and beyond with decor because it doesn't need it. If you're looking for a venue that doesn't scream "wedding hall", then you need to book your wedding here. And don't even get me started on the food. DELICIOUS. My guests are still talking about the food, and even our cake, weeks later.

All of the benefits that come with The Lace Factory make booking with them a brainless option: day of coordinator, a captain to do/get you anything on the wedding day, a huge bridal suite, indoor/outdoor ceremony options, countless picture locations, the Essex Steam Train, they pack up all your decor and food for you to pick up the next day, all of the local vendors they suggest and work with are the most amazing wholehearted people... the list goes on!

I know this venue is typically used for weddings but I highly recommend using the Riverview Room to hold your next party or gathering at. After surviving a year with triplets we decided to go all out to celebrate and held their first birthday party here. The room was spacious enough for the 32 guests (and 6 kids) that attended and boasted beautiful views of the Connecticut River and Essex steam train. The event coordinator Tiffany was very helpful and responsive while planning the event and the day of made everything so seamless. She even let us come the night before to set everything up so we didn't have to rush in the morning before the party. Chef Mark made the most delicious luncheon food that had everyone raving. I'm still dying to know the recipe for the ginger crusted salmon. Long story short, come celebrate your event here and your guests will be talking for days about how lovely it was!

From the moment we walked into the Lace Factory for our initial tour, we fell in love with the space and the staff. Not only did the staff (Tiffany and Christine especially) help us plan and budget to create our dream wedding, but they exceeded expectations at every turn. Our guests couldn't believe we didn't work with a coordinator -- we didn't need one when it came to the Lace Factory because of Christine's attention to detail, genuine investment, and overall kindness.
We went a minimalist route and even without a ton of add-ons, the space was simply gorgeous. The day of our wedding it was drizzling and the staff was outside waiting with umbrellas to let all guests in from the bus.
We got married on 11/11/22 and every day we hear from our guests about how much they enjoyed it. The food, the bar, the dance floor, and the organization were impeccable! I would recommend the Lace Factory to anyone!

I am late sharing our pleasure at attending my niece's wedding Sept. 20th.
Our 86 year old Aunt who walked with great difficulty was determined but also treated with great care by the staff. Shuttled close to the entrance upon arrival by train and the lovely manager Christina(Kristina?) came to me slightly before departure time to offer us the golf cart ride to our hotel shuttle ahead of the crowd. Such a sweet gesture and a kind lovely woman!! The wedding in all areas was extremely well done, attentive staff, great food and drink and a beautiful environment. My now husband and I got married at the Lace Factory recently and I can honestly say it was better than my dreams. It was over 100 degrees that day and we made the last minute decision to change our ceremony inside and it was truly magic. Our backup plan ended up being even more beautiful than our original. The food, the space, the staff, everything was perfection. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about it and we’ve even heard from several people it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to😋. But none of it would’ve been possible if it weren’t for our INCREDIBLE wedding planner, Tiffany Zwart. There aren’t enough words to describe how truly amazing she is at both her job and just as a person. If you are thinking about getting married at the Lace Factory, hire Tiffany. You will not regret it and your wedding will be perfection. Even our families are still talking about her!!! Everything about this place was perfection and I wish we could do it all again♥️
