Needed place to stay while on the road. Quick google maps search showed this place. Had the best reviews for the price so I stopped. Person at the counter service was great. Room was clean and smelled nice when I entered it (didn't have that musty hotel smell) The breakfast did have a bit to be desired, but free is free. Overall for being less than $100 it was better than I expected. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Rooms are newly remodeled and furnished and clean. The exterior is a bit sketchy. But it looks like they are renovating the property in the right order. It was an "only option" find and was 30 min from where we wanted to be but, it was sufficient. Surprisingly, it was very quiet with a full house. There's nothing around it but a gas station so plan accordingly.

Based on my August 16, 2024 experience, I would stay at the Travel Inn again. I booked directly at the hotel with no prior reservation, having arrived from Eutaw via a beautiful backroad. The young man at checked-in was courteous and personable. The room rate was reasonable (virtually the same as online booking companies offered -- and I'd rather the hotel get more of my money). Room was clean, seemingly updated of recent, and it looked like the online photos. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with abundant hot water. Refrigerator and microwave, clean. For me, a light sleeper, it was sufficiently quiet. Given reviews I had read, my expectations were exceeded for this class of hotel, especially for the price I paid.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Warning to everyone, it looks nothing like on the webpage and when we arrived, the entire motel was closed off, even the parking area. It looks very run down and shady. All the doors were closed. When we knocked on the door, we were told our reservation was no longer valid, after they had taken our payment over Booking.com. The guy barely spoke English and said there had been a storm and he had to close the motel down three days ago.... instead of informing us, he took our money. So with no place to go, we had to find another hotel. I contacted booking twice since to try and get my money back. Booking says it's up to the manager to refund the money, he says it's up to booking. Haven't seen my money. BEWARE!!!! This place should NOT be on Booking.

We were traveling to Texas & had got a late start from Georgia & we pulled into this place to see if any rooms were available ( there was a big college football game that weekend.) They had 2 rooms & the service was great.

The service is really what makes this place stand out, especially for the price. We checked in really quickly and I was comfortable. My only real issue was that the WiFi in my room wouldn’t connect.
