Beautiful October weekend hike around the pond via white / blue trails. Surprisingly engaging trail despite part of it being wide and flat at the start from a parking lot. Lots of photo opportunities around the pond with few water access points. Plenty of parking despite sunny warm weather.

This was a great state park to go for a walk at. We went counterclockwise around the lake and had a blast. We found what appeared to be an old gravestone at the tail end of our Loop and on the way back to the car we noticed the building off to our left side that looks like an old Root Cellar or bomb shelter. We went up there to explore and found some old staircases and a beautiful old fireplace. It's definitely worth the trip.

Awesome place for hiking, walking a dog and fishing as well. In summertime the place get busy most of the time. Parking area is also limited only like 50- 60 cars, but you if you come early you can find good spots.

A local hiking spot, with lovely trails of varying difficulty and a pond in the middle. When it's not crowded, it is fantastic. But it is often crowded in the weekends. Free parking with CT license plate.

Beautiful, easy loop trail with lots of spots to stop along the way and sit by the lake. Very dog friendly, pretty populated in the summers but if you’re there early or on the off season you’ll have some privacy.

I loved this place! Great water, and surroundings. Very limited parking, fills to capacity on weekends by like 730am. Great to take dog to. Otis loves to swim.
