Location is perfect and conveniently close to center , highways , grocery store ,etc . Even has a new car wash soon as you exit the back. My car was always clean before work or before going out places I would run it through the wash quick. Maintenance handles every little issue with professionalism; they are genuinely happy to help the residents. Convenience is the key word - it’s been great living here ! I will be sad to leave.

We are in the process of resigning our lease for the third time now, and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else! This is such a wonderful community, and I truly believe that all of the friendly staff members play a big part in that. Ron in particular is such a welcomed presence around the community, and always greets everyone with a smile and positive attitude in addition to maintaining the property so incredibly well, and in such a timely manner! As a resident of several years, I can confidently say that he is the best head of maintenance The Tannery has ever had….thank you for everything you do Ron! To anyone who is considering moving in, we can’t recommend The Tannery enough!

When deciding on an apartment I consider maintenance to be one of the most important parts. The Tannery’s maintenance supervisor Ron has the same mindset with the level of quality and care he puts into every work order. Being one of the most efficient and punctual maintenance members I’ve ever met, he is by far the biggest reason I chose to renew my lease for 3 years in a row.

I recently moved into The Tannery and I love it here! My apartment is spacious and modern and it’s very peaceful here. Kim in the leasing office has been very helpful and always pleasant to deal with. Ron in maintenance is quick to reply to work orders and gets the job done efficiently. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants a nice place to live with excellent amenities too.

The worst quality apartment I’ve lived in Glastonbury at the highest rental price.

Can hear the person living above you, ant/lady bug infestation depending on the level, poor quality appliances (had to wash dishes by hand because dishwasher did not thoroughly clean them), multiple lost packages, pool is closed early, and very delayed communication by main staff. Minimal complimentary events for residents.

Also tried to raise rent by over $600 for renewal (which I was not considering, I actually politely tried to leave early and said I would be charged over $3000 for breaking the lease).

And I truly hate writing negative reviews. I am only writing this to try to save others from an expensive, poor quality environment, especially if they have kids. I wish I had read honest reviews before signing my lease.

On a positive note, the maintenance manager, Ron, was always very quick to try to help and pleasant.

Ron is in charge of maintenance at The Tannery. He is undeniably an exceptional asset to the organization. He is responsive and pleasant and is creative with solutions. I am always pleased to see Ron! Additionally the same is true with all of the staff. How lucky we all are to live here!
